No shit - I have the tools, but not the time or skills...
To be fair, this to me is the quickest and easiest way of doing this alteration. I've seen a couple dozen of these tutorials and this is by far the easiest to understand. Great video!

Isn't it better to do this from the shoulder instead so you're not messing up the sleeve taper? And this alteration also gets way harder if the buttonholes need to be functional, right?
hm...thank you, but I'd rather take the tailor...if I were to do it, I'd end up with a short sleeve in the end🤣

Looks like you put buttons on wrong side.
you have not noticed that the opening of the slot is wrong It is supposed to be directed to the back and not to the front

Fix the sleeve from the bottom part is the easiest way of damaging a garment. Except when the tailor remake identically in the way it was made since the beginning.

no de abajo se puede y queda muy bien arriba se descose la manga cuando la espalda es muy ancha y con sumo cuidado se toma las veces que lo abre echo

Да, меня тоже заинтересовало, как быть со шлицей, если на неё не предусмотрена ткань. Ну , видимо - такой компромисс. Но с учётом того, что сделано "на коленке" - качество вполне себе неплохое.

Quick and easy! LOL!!! My advice for whom that not familiar with those kind of stuff is to bring it to real tailor (it’s really not expensive) It will be very bad to ruin new BOSS sport jacket.

Not professional, What happen to side vent?4 mistakes, 1,vent has to be open the buttom end(not close)folded edge must be inveasible stitched to sleeve body, 3, lining must be free,buttons needs to be stitch before sewing the lining,4,buttons needs to be close to each others,no space.(Shorten sleeves is one of the most difficult job in tailoring,especialy when you need to shorten more the 2.5inches needs sleeve remodeling period.
