I learned a pretty cool hack while working in LA At a denim fashion house, they used to use rubber mallets on our heavier weight denim for sewing over thicker or bulkier seams. You just give it a good tap a couple times and it actually presses the seam pretty flat so you don’t have to cut any of the bulk out and risk damaging your jeans when you’re altering them, pretty solid industry hack and definitely very effective! Enjoyed watching your video though great job attention to detail is important. This is a good video for anybody Who wants to learn how to correctly hem denim jeans!
