This was very informative👏🏽👏🏽, Thank you. something else to check. If you’re shopping on Amazon from South Africa always make sure the product is “Sold by Amazon” or “Sold by ____ and Fulfilled by Amazon” this means it’s coming from their warehouses so should you have any issues, returning won’t be an issue. If it does not mention any of the above it is probably coming from a 3rd party seller (people just selling on the Amazon platform, they handle their own sales and shipping) returns and refunds from 3rd party sellers can be such a hassle and Amazon can never refund you on behalf of a 3rd party seller

Unfortunately SARS wants their cut. There’s no work around. Shop around in Amazon, I’ve noticed that sometimes the shipping and customs charges varies between sellers in Amazon.

Im not sure if ebay ships to south Africa but I would love to know your thoughts on it if you use it. I'm not south African but I use amazon atleast 5 times a month. I personally love amazon and I think thier customer service is exceptional.

You'll need to buy a universal adapter or unless you more than welcome to buy a new charger

Also… I cleared my cart as one order, I do understand that it’s from different sellers, but the annoying part was they didn’t take the full amount of R9600 they took it in bits and pieces, which annoyed me. Again, my second batch arrived today with DHL, so did my first, these arrived between 4days - 9days, which I was very happy about. But what I’m not happy about is that; the stuff that came were just stuff I added to the cart only because I was already shopping there. Now my lights, and other decor stuff is coming through ARAMEX, the pits!!! I’m so impatient!!! They haven’t updated since Thursday, and mind you this will be 3 different batches of delivery with ARAMEX. Arrrggghh! How long does it take usually with ARAMEX, everything I bought was available in stock.

Yeah so I haven’t used any of these shippers yet but I’ve heard of Aramex Global Shopper and DHL Africa eShop that can get you what you need, my only gripe is the cost, they are quite expensive - especially DHL. Maybe I will try them out and do a review. Thanks for watching bro!

Give it a few hours. Typically they charge your card just before they ship the order.

I would say yes but the government doesn't really like you buying tech overseas so they going to charge you high import fees but there's still very good deals.
