amazing video!

One detail forgotten...what's the ballpark of pricing for such a campaign? I mean, instead of running and gunning as a one man band, there are crew costs as well here, while clients want everything to be cheap. So, how can you price it competitively when more people are involved, and you have more post work of editing stills + videos?

Great Video

I’d love to know how to even get campaigns like these with bigger brands! I’m building my portfolio but don’t know where to start. Seems like everyone has an in house photographer already.

These campaigns generally don’t go to in house photographers. To get to this level you need connections at brands, a lot of these brands based have a production team that they use in California in some form and those teams will either hire someone they know can personally get the job done or they will seek out a photographer through an agent that can achieve the job they need. If you’re starting out I would recommend photo assisting. Unfortunately there isn’t a union or anything like that in California but you can always send messages to any photographers you admire and just tell them that you would like to work and what your day rate for that would be. If you don’t have an on production experience you can usually ask for about $300 for a 10hr day. Hope this helps.

Campaign shoots like this can have a range from $10000-$15000 per day, total budget can be from $40k-$100k depending on usages and what not. Glad to see that gatekeeping is still alive these days.
