Jay, the social/communication aspect of this tutorial is gold. I’m a dentist and I run into the same things over and over when I meet a new patient. This reminds me a lot of how I have to interact with people if I’m going to have a successful encounter. 😆 Thank you for your advice that only years of expertise can deliver! 👍🏻

Taking the time at the beginning of this episode to explain your patter and sharing your experiences for WHY you specifically say what you do is a vital ingredient that many other instructional videos don't cover. I'm 40 years old and have seen a lot of things but good magic still makes me feel a sense of wonder. Keep up the good work my friend.

Fantastic SankeyMagic, and really helps me appreciate the skill, hard work and vulnerability of magicians when they put themselves out there and risk embarrassment, rejection and heckling, all for our enjoyment and wonder. Particularly love the history, terminology and science. There's something incredibly moving to hear magicians from by-gone years are being referenced for their life works. Perhaps knowing that their tricks were passed on and not left to die or be reinvented in their absence. It may not be for everyone's taste, but I would really enjoy a tour through some of the history of magic. Lastly, I am sincerely grateful to the magicians out there who have helped in the battle against quackery and dishonest people who exploit vulnerable people with trickery and saying they have real supernatural powers.

I love the information you give. You're a technician magician! The techniques displayed seem so fluid and effortless. You see, I was/am into martial arts (back injury stopped most of my training) anyways, I heard technician and magician thrown around a lot during my many years training. The way you move you body, misdirect, feint, all too go after the real target of your opponent. Well, it's so similar... Yet less violent (maybe some paper cuts etc lol) but it's there! A great magician maneuvers the crowd into all the different moves till the finale of here's your card. I've just started in the last month basic card tricks and coin tricks off of your channel. Thank you.. your Kung Fu ( Kung Fu actually means any craft or art you're really proficient in) is top notch! I love the philosophy, the misdirection and showmanship.
