If you are recording a chat, Skype crops the screen in the recoding. Is there a way for it to record full screen?

Short but meaningful

How about if we have dual monitor?

Audio won´t be shared even when enabled. I really can´t figure out the problem. And the video stays jumpy with a grey box partly over it so the other person can´t see everything. This is so frustrating. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Good video. Additionally, by using tools like Zoom, R-HUB web video conferencing servers etc. one can easily do screen mirroring, application screen sharing etc.

That's my question too. Can anyone help? I haven't found this feature in Skype so far.

Thank you for the complete and clear explanation of how to share screen and switch screens or windows in Skype. When I am in a Skype call, I click on the Share Screen icon and a red line surrounds my whole computer desktop. However, when I select the option to Switch Screen or Window, the only option that shows is my Desktop, even though I have my browser and several web sites open. Why can I not select my browser to share?

Interesting Problem Dean. Our team uses Skype a lot. Screen sharing can be hit and miss sometimes. One thing that we have found is that Skype has trouble sometimes switching back and forth from different views. Hanging up and restarting the call as a video call can sometimes help. Another tip for Mac users is this, Skype will not always recognize windows or apps open in full screen, bring them out of full screen and see if that triggers Skypes viewer. Why this is I'm Uncertain but it tends to be the case. Let us know if this helps or not we are here for you Dean!

Skype offers a whiteboard feature which allows for you and your students to write in the screen. However this is a Skype for business feature. It can also be found in Microsoft Teams.
