I absolutely love it girl! I just bought some clippers and I am determined to learn to do my own shape ups because barbers just don't do it the way I ask them to, then I have to pay for something I didn't ask for! Never again! I figure if I mess up I can always wear a hat till it grows back out right. 😂 I can do this with the Holy Spirit's help for sure. Thanks again, great video.

Lol yes you can do it sis. That’s why I started doing it myself… all it took was one time for the barber to mess me up and I was like nahhh 😂

Hey loved your tutorial but I need to know how you styled hair and what products you use. Do you have to wet your hair everyday before styling? I have alopecia on the top and I'm just trying to keep it simple. Thanks Merry christmas

Great tutorial! I watch your tutorial from 2020 every time I cut my hair and it's been so helpful. I will save this one and use it often as well. Unfortunately, I can't do the back of my head. It's so awkward. So rather than purchase trimmers, I just use one of those little Wahl groomsman trimmers. I can handle that better than I think I would a true trimmer. It doesn't come out as fly looking as yours, but it will suffice for an old lady like me. 😄 Thank you, my dear.

Same here with lox & the shaved sides. I've done my shape up quite a few times b4, but I honestly just got lazy & busy with life, which is y we spend $ on a lot of convenience 4 cuts, etc.. BUT...this vid has reminded me that I better get back 2 saving a few bux!! Currently charging my clippers/trimmers now & I'm glad I was reminded 2 get back 2 sitting on that sink & hook it up!!
How long did it take you to learn this technique of shaping your own hair??🤔🙏
Thank u for Sharing Queen. I've adopted your hair style fiesta of all because i wanted to change the style, and 2ndly because of my damaged temples and his slowly growth. My question is to Know in wich frequency do you redo your shape?
@GlamMzMore
2 жыл бұрын
You’re welcome Queen. I don’t shape up my hair on schedule. Only when I feel it’s growing out of its shape, or just getting too long for my preference.
What kind if scissors is that?? Can you also link it or similar

It’s barber scissors or hair cutting scissors. Here is a similar pair amzn.to/3JbYLIp

Was it difficult to learn to keep up with your cut yourself? Do you ever go to a barber? Looking great as usual!!!
@GlamMzMore
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. I don’t let anyone else cut my hair at all. I went to the barber after I did the big chop to get my hair shaped into a tapered cut. I showed him a picture and everything. It turned out nothing like the picture. From that point on I said never again. It wasn’t difficult for me to learn as I used to cut my own hair when I was relaxed and wore a pixie. I was just nervous that I wouldn’t be able to cut my natural hair. But after a couple of tries, I was able to get it down pact.

When she says high it’s open when she says low it’s closed. Open takes of less hair Close takes off more Going up is against the grain taking of more hair Going with takes of less I love this even though she don’t know the correct terms. Very detailed
