Tony, I have a bit of a unique situation. I have mild cerebral palsy, meaning my balance is problematic and my ability to perform reasonable footwork is very limited to non-existant. I'm mostly concerned with self-defense, but do you have any suggestions for how to make up for that significant disadvantage, or how I might go about compensating and building the best footwork I possibly can?
Massive respect to this guy for giving all these info for free. I dont have the money to give him yet, the only thing i can do is subscribe. I came from the other 1hr tutorial and he is amazing. Cheers to him and good luck to my brothers world wide for working on themselves. Lets get it boys.
Im 19 and im learning boxing on my own so far i wanna become wbc in featherweight and i will join a boxing gym after my exams and tony i have a huge respect for you sir I absolutely love your videos and I learned a-lot from you thank you so much for your guidance sir

I just started boxing for fitness and I love it! It's so much fun. This is my favorite boxing channel.
I'll be 44 this year and my MH has kept me in most of this year after losing a close friend, I boxed a little in my youth and wanted to recondition my body and strengthen my mind again. Forgetting almost everything I'd learnt. I can't thankyou enough for producing such a lengthy well explained and broken down easily to follow guide. Such a well thought out piece of content that I will be using to learn from. After warming up I am solely focusing on footwork and learning a stable basis to expand upon. Thankyou brother!
The best and most detailed Shadow boxing tutorial i've seen AND it's from a professional 🙌🏻
I’ve recently started boxing as an older chap (43). Your videos educate and motivate me to get better and stick with it. Thank you for the content, it’s really appreciated 👍🏼

Yeah, everytime I tried to shadowbox,I would go and punch as fast as I can,roll/slip 100 times in a minute and then I wondered how do some other people don't get exhausted from shadowboxing, probably they are not sprinting* the shadowboxing
Man i have been slacking on watching some Tony Jeffries videos. Going through a rough time in life but then again who isnt these days. Boxing is my only Therapy. Its my only escape from the world. Where i can just focus on me, myself and i. No responsibilities other than improving my body. To me, boxing is my Paradise. The only thing i regret in life is not starting when i was younger. Its still hard to watch boxing without my Father. If i had one more day with him id take him to a boxing match. Something we always wanted to do but never got the chance. I love Boxing. Now to become a Tony Jeffries 2.0.
Tons of incredible value in this video! Thank you. 20 years ago, this video would’ve been a DVD or VHS set for “3 easy payments of $29.99.”
thanks tony im total beginner ... just concentrating on heavy bag , shadow work, and my footwork ,i ll only watch north easts best..........oh and by the way im gonna have to chalk that 9 box grid on the floor of my home gym ........... !

Tony, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the excellent boxing tutorials you've posted over the past few years which have motivated me to join a local boxing club recently and take it to a higher level. I feel so much more confident with footwork, breathing, hand speed, shadow boxing, combinations and head movement, whilst always making sure I have good form. Thanks again for the superb content and your outstanding teaching style. Ian, Lincoln England.
Tony, the new format with the content guide at the bottom is awesome. And the whole video is just loaded with real, practical information. Thanks!
If I invented a device that gave you an electric shock every time your feet got too close together/your hands went lower than your waist, would you endorse it? Haha. Brilliant video mate I really do love the ones with the menu bar its so helpful skipping back to your favourite bits. All the best lad

Dude the amount of work you put into your videos is amazing. It really shows the type of coach you are. Amazing🔥🔥 thank you so much
Heheheh, I am a girl and I just like how strong boxing makes me feel, well at least watching other people so far. I want to try it out myself. My area doesn't have these kind of classes, I hope this channel is a great place to start while in my own room.
Amazing video Tony. As always. This will help me out in a big way with my own training. Your videos, along with Fran’s are my bible. Lucky to have this content online. Fairly sure you might have a team doing some reply’s at this stage, on account of how much the channel has grown since I found it. That said, I wanted to say thanks for putting this together in such detail. A great watch and an amazing contribution to the sport. Much love
Perfect video🥊 Will definitely practice tomorrow!
Hey Coach Tony, You are a tremdous Coach , very inspiring!! I'm in coaching myself, and I can honestly say that you are a great Coach, and I learn something new with every video I watch, not just for boxing either, but with your teaching style, motivation style, and leadership quality!! Thank you so much!!!!
Started boxing at 32, thinking I'd do it just for a leisure sport but seeing these comments here are really motivating me. Worried I'd lose my momentum when I'm away at the in-law's for almost a month but shadowboxing looks perfect to makeup for it!

Excellent teaching and thank you. Also, for the compassion using the vegan cactus gloves.
Love this people like myself sometimes forget the fundamentals after not practicing in a while. One of the best British coaches out there

More than just a shadowboxing tutorial, this is a great form tuneup overall. Been teaching my daughter how to punch and this is reminding me to think of all the little things I don't think about anymore so I can get her started with good form. Great video and your whole channel is a great boxing resource.
Might be the quintessential boxing video for not only beginners but also for those revisiting the basics .
Great video thank you so much I will do this circuit while. I recommend using a metronome to train your combos, or punching and feinting etc to beats of your favorite music Circuit: 3 minutes foot work hands 30 hands up 30 seconds hands down 3 minutes head combos 3 minutes head body combos 3 minutes defense 3 minutes pivot 3 minutes phase attacks =18 minutes rinse and repeat =36 minutes *feint throughout *move head throughout
Thanks for so much uploads tony i appreciate that
KZread at its best. Thank you Tony for this amazing video! Its blows my mind thats its completely free!

Tony, your vids are fantastic! You cover everything but you're also a great teacher. You recap stuff, you give reasons why you do certain things, your demos are really clear, and you stress perfecting the fundamentals. You've improved my technique a lot. Keep on rockin, mate!

Thanks for the video. I've always used shadowboxing as a way of mixing up cardio, but I'm always just winging it with no thought to technique. I'm going to start thinking about it, if I'm doing the exercise anyway.
