How to shade rows alternatively in Excel

Hi,
Most often we need to shade the every each other row in Excel, so that the reader can easily move his eye through the entire table without confusion.
For this purpose,
you need to select the range that you want to give shade to.
then go to Home tab,
move to Conditional format.
then select new rule.
Select the last one in the list.
That is use a formula to determine which cells to format.
then type in the text box this formula:
isodd(row(A1))
The A1 reference that I took here is the first cell reference in my selection.
you may have another one. So, replace it with the ever first cell address.
then click Format button.
then click Fill tab.
select your desired color to make a shading.
click OK. it's all done.
