@@TutsByKai honestly though. before his voice got worse and deeper around 2019 he used to sound exactly like you in that timestamp
Before this I used to choose a slightly darker color and attempt to paint over the shadeless drawing. This literally changed my life.

I love it. Photoshop definitely has some cool features (nothing that you can't recreate) But it's just not worth the monthly subscription like you're paying for insurance.

At around 4:46 you fill in the using the fill tool. When i use the fill tool on my shade the whole layer turns black. Any idea? Also Thank you!

This worked for me: Select the Fill Tool, go to Tool Options and check the box next to "Use selection as boundary" Then fill.

If anyone is still having problems, when you go into tool options with the fill tool selected, there's an option called reference. Click the box that says "fill regions found from the merging of all layers"
yo! im a new artist and im watching all of your videos to start! thanks for being a good youtuber! :D

My dumbass was doing this by selecting a slightly darker color and shading over the solid colors this makes it so easy. thanks man
thank you
Can you make a Photopea-tutorial please
I really like ur style of drawing digital art and your videos so I tried making a style of drawing that's like you' res but a bit more realistic so i would wanna ask you , how to u draw hair(that is if u draw hair in your characters) because my style is mostly based of your style but with a mix of realism
My grow selection tool is always greyed out, anyone know why this might be?
I feel you man, I make cartoons and comics and my characters are usually unshaded
I found you page a long while ago, mainly because i use Krita as well. But i was also interested in your blender videos. I have a bunch of your videos on a playlist and i thought i’d ask as courtesy to you and the content you make. Do you mind if i use them on twitch to follow along? (with proper credit to the videos used)

How you put your body color on a different layer without the black shape?
@TutsByKai
Жыл бұрын
Make a layer under the layer with the line art.
How on earth were you able to have the lines and color on seperate layers? Only was I can think of doing that is removing the lines/color from a layer ._.
for some reason its not working for me. whenever i do your steps perfectly, it still doesnt work. when i use to fill tool, it doesnt interact with the outline, and fills in the entire page.
love the video but honestly, why don't you show the menu and the saturalion settings, i mean... it would be very helpfull.. i still can't change de "color" of the shadows...but thank you for the lesson
Why didn’t anyone tell me this earlier
I feel like an idiot for not thinking to just use solid black and then lower the opacity to have a good shade. I was trying to manually paint in darker colors lol
why cant u do a simplified example from start to finish. i dont know how to separate the colour onto a different layer like u have it set to so now i have to go away and findout how to do that before any of this is useful
@Cerbyo

ya u need to learn colourize mask to make the colour layer, and then u need to edit the fill options to look at all layers...its different in the newest version of krita. So with those two things as prerequisites u can use the tutorial now,

For any lurker with the same question idk if there's a specific tool, but just draw colors on a different layer from the start so you don't need it. I guess you could try selecting each colored part and copy paste them on an other layer... and be careful if you fuse layers.
why does he sound so simillar to walter white jr
I dont get it, is there no way to draw a solid colour without all this tomfuckery? I just want to do a singular colour without grading or pressure. Please someone help
