Very cute! A tip, if you use a hairdryer to blow heat on the vinyl, it softens it and makes it easier to turn out. :)

This project is really cute ! Thank you for putting up this tutorial. Did you find that the vinyl is hard to sew ? Did it stick to your machine as you were sewing?

No this isn’t the sticky thin type of vinyl so it was easy to sew. If you find that it sticks to your machine you could buy a Teflon foot or I’ve heard that just sticking a piece of washi tape to the bottom of your foot helps. Just stick it on and cut out around the edges of the foot. Hope this helps and that you try it!

Just a thought, maybe softer or quieter music would be less interruptive, with your great tutorial. ❤

No it’s a plastic zipper so none of my needles have broken yet while making these. If the zipper is metal though I do not recommend sewing over it.

I'm only seeing this video now. You probably know by now but Sew Hungry Hippo sells all kinds of glitter vinyl in bigger sizes. It is owned by Natalie and she is in Wisconsin.

Omg. I love her and her store. I did find out about her store after I made this. I’m glad to know there is a non amazon option if I need a bigger sheet although shipping to hawaii is alway so expensive.

What about a shower curtain liner? Would that give you a larger sheet?

The vinyl I’m using is a little thicker than chowder curtain vinyl so it really holds its shape. You could totally try it with a thicker shower curtain it would just be a little more flexible. I wouldn’t recommend using a thin vinyl. It might not be as durable.

You said at least twice that you folded the tab in half with right sides together but you actually folded it wrong sides together. Also, each time you sewed a seam, you called it an inseam. Please look up the meaning of inseam because it’s NOT what you are doing!
