Hey there! I was wondering if you could talk a little more about your binding methods? You mentioned binding in this video and I was hoping to find the site you mentioned in the description box and maybe learn some of your binding tips for bag making? Thank you! Love the style of your videos.

Great videos! Steve, what would cause the top stitches to look a little zagged on a straight stitch Juki DDL 8700-H? They look great when I use jeans topstitching thread, but look zagged with bonded poly etc type thread.

Great video. Can u explain how to add tabs to the end of the zippers and sew in round ends. Basically like a burrito bag for a bike with tab ends to make it look good. I can see the zippers, and I can see the circles, just can seem to put them together and look nice. Thanks!

You’d cut the zipper to the length you want it to be plus the seam allowance (3/8” or 1cm on each side) and add a piece of fabric on each end, sew it, turn it over and sew it again, and then follow the same principles in the video 🤙

And then you add your pulls? - when is the best time to add the zipper pulls - especially looking for the 2 that meet in the center.

Just got my first Juki du 1181n. We are getting aquatinted and I am doing handbags, wallets and such using vinyls and cotton interfaced woven cottons. Wanting to try waxed canvas, where do you source yours from? Needles sizes? Thread sizes. Thanks

Hello. How would you sew a zipper. If you cut a hole in the leather. As if the zipper was about 4in down. A side pocket zipper? If I am saying it right? Thank you for all your videos. I am learning alot.🙂🦇

I’m making leather bags that are lined and zipped. Would like to be shown how to make the two top corners of the bags where the zipper ends look neater and not bulky. And would prefer if they didn’t dent. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thank you! My suggestion would be "how to sew around corners" e.g. on a briefcase or other bag. I have a TechSew 2700 for reference.

That would be great, thank you! Both actually... I find it really difficult to make a super accurate pattern when dealing with round corners even when I've measured the circumference. Also, sewing on rounded corners is always a pain, whether it be bunching or what not - I'd love to hear your thoughts and see a demonstration.

Bag Buff, what would you do if you had to sew a circle using stretchy fabric that frays easily?

I’m assuming you want to sew this material to a zipper. In that case I’d use binding. Same methods shown in the video, but cover the seam with binding afterwards 👍

I would like to see a video where the two ends of a finished zipper installed on a lined pouch, are crispy, square and clean looking instead of angled or rounded like mine are !!!
