This is just crazy! I've never thought of making a collar this way. How simple is this? Dude is putting it down for real. I'm doing this the next time I make a shirt.

I really like the videos and the pace they're at. They answer a lot of questions I had from working from a pattern for the first time. I really like the extra topstitch. Very nice touch
This guy is a boss. He's so used to sewing, he doesn't even use pins or baste anything.

My sewing teacher learned from an Italian tailor in the 60s in California. This is how she taught me, too.

In some places most people are taught without pins
It’s so satisfying watching a professional tailor sew! Although I did learned some sewing techniques from it but a lot of parts just happened too fast so I still can’t understand.

Is Press on tape or Press on paper, it comes in different colos and thikness, and also in interlining fabric, press on as well, to give body to coat and jacket fabric .
@wayneartmann9766

I know this is a late response, but the interfacing he is using, is a special type designed for shirt collars. It comes in different weights. You won’t find it in a fabric shop.

I was not able to find any good interfacing on eBay, Amazon, or big retail hobby stores. I have recently bought stiff interfacing at B. Black and sons. The website looks like it was made in the early 2000’s, but I was able to get my order with no problems. I would recommend them if you are in the U.S.

Hola, me gusta mucho la técnica que emplea, también vi el video del pantalón, una pregunta; ¿ qué es lo que usa cuando termina de pasar la plancha? me tiene intrigado, gracias.
These are great videos, but I wish for a video that shows you speaking explaining what is being done. Thanks.

Nice work. Anyone who has appreciation for dress construction can understand the processes despite the speed of the visual.

Спасибо за мастер-класс !
I agree with several of the following comments: the video is fast, and I could slow it down, but it would make such a difference to have some clear, sensible narration instead of annoying funky music/noise. For example: you must be using "interfacing" when you iron it on, what other stuff should I ask for when shopping? Maybe I just need better videos?

he's not teaching you anything... he's just showing us how he made a shirt... LOL... but he has other videos of different techniques and styles that are slower... but no one is going to watch a regular speed video... he's amazing... not one pin or clip used...

buenos días! tiene algún vídeo de cómo patronar el cuello de la camisa?
Perfeitoooooo!!! Showwww
Yes, it was fast but essentially I think I was able to follow it:). A little surprised that there wasn't a more accurate Full pattern that was used. Many measurements based on the neck size....interesting!
(4:47), (4:48) and (4:49) - Pause it, right there, there and there. That stitching ? Right there ? It is utterly *_DIVINE ?_* Can you come to London ? >
