Perfect! Sewn closed gaps in mitered corners will get points in contests! The quilt judges at our state fair are from the University Home Economics Dept - they take big points off for gaps in corners as well as not using stitch in a ditch & not using an 1/8" ease to fold over bias tape to prevent stretching it causing wonky straight stitched lines & bulkiness ...

This video and instructions made it so simple, easy, and fast to do the corners! I've watched several videos and tried to read several instructions that only confused me. This one was perfect! Thanks!

Thanks! This is the best tutorial I have found on KZread! This technique is perfect for the corners of the chefs' aprons I make too! I am so glad tablecloths, aprons and napkins are back "in" these days. I just got a new kitchen table and all my better tablecloths are too big now--I really needed this quick, easy and perfect technique. Maybe I will make some napkins or chip/bread basket liners from the excess fabric too! Oh... and this also works for making scarfs (even with silk and, of course, the right needle)--soooo many uses! Thanks again.

I watched your video 5 times. I didn't understand the measurements. I finally gave up and just followed your instructions. It worked! It's my first time and I have checked fabric. I had so much trouble with other tutorials that seemed simple because of the pattern on the fabric. Your way it doesn't matter what the fabric looks like.
