Fusible straight stay tape : Strong against stretching
Half bias fusible stay tape : A little soft compared to straight tape
Fusible straight stay tape with stitching : Fusing it on the part you don't want to stretch absolutely

• How to sew a jacket
This white strip is just a "PP strap" that is often used for packing work.

lapel collar is challenging to pattern out and construct; no pinning or basting; instead she sews the lapel collar straight to the neck curve; and yet the collar and neck curve match beautifully; no pucker. Masterful!

Do you have any plan to make a video about how to make a coat with thick & heavy wool ? Sewing a collar ( 16:35 ) or making a vent when I make a coat made of thick fabric is always a challenging 😢😢 I admire and love your works. Thank you!

Эта белая полоса - это просто «лента из полипропилена(PP strap)», которая часто используется при упаковочных работах. Это сделано для того, чтобы не скользить во время шитья (зазор между шитьем). Если толщина ткани разная, давление прижимной лапки и транспортера нестабильно. Наклеить эту ленту - значит прибавить высоту. Это также полезно для прямой направляющей линии. Спасибо.
