Hi, paid for a paper pattern for a bucket hat, after opening it up, found the entire thing confusing. 74 yr Brain does not think like it used to and I searched on KZread for assembly of bucket hat found your site. How amazing are you. You taught me more in 5 minutes then trying to unravel paper pattern. Bravo, now I cant wait to begin. Well laid out, easy to follow, and so grateful for your teach style.....I am your Fan now. 👍💝👍

That's a very cute hat, and very good clear instructions too. Would you recommend increasing the percentage from 100% when printing it out to make a bigger hat? I have quite a big head and thick hair. Thank you!

Great tutorial thanks 😁 What size head does this fit or what are the finished measurements of the hat please?

My head measures 23 and it’s perfect. I used 1/4 seam allowance. You must use a computer to get the pattern to print at 100% because then you’re given the scale to print at. It will not work from iPad or phone. The square measured 5cm when I cut it out. I will definitely be making more!! Thank you!

Looks good and very well explained I am a little concerned. In the sizing my head measures 21 inches. I would assume adjustments can be made on the fold side of the pattern.

It would be very helpful to see mesure of every part of pattern, please 💖

What size human does this hat fit?

Hi. I just found your video today and try it right away but somehow it doesn't turn out so easy to make. I don't know why the side part is bigger as the top of the hat and I need to make a fold sonit can fit the top of the hat. What is wrong? Can you tell me please!

I'm loving the tutorial, but the pattern print seems offly big. The test square says 2"/5cm. It does not match with ruler. I'm afraid of making a Wonky hat.

I made the bucket and was not very happy with the way it turned out. I made sure printer was at 100% and measured the square to be sure. It came out not round (the brim). Idk what I did wrong.

I really enjoyed this video. Extremely thorough. Does she have her own KZread channel?

I reprinted the pattern because my side of hat and brim were not matching the top. I had it 100% but when I measured the box it was a notch less than the 2"?

Same. Weird. I see the one she has when she puts it on it looks almost twice the size of the one I ended up with. And it's not because the pattern was small. I checked the square and it was the right measurement. I'm pretty stumped as to why there's such a large size difference between what she ended up with and what I ended up with.

A bit weird top stitching the wrong side.

why not inches instead of cm

Where did I go wrong please? I did what you said and made the pattern pieces to 100% on the photocopier. However the hat is enormous!! I can’t attach the photos unfortunately but it’s probably about twice the size it needs to be 🥹
