Love this❤! Personal preference... pockets!! They would hide so nicely in the side seams.

I was debating s.s pockets. They would be totally easy to add still. Maybe I’ll add them still.

I do love this skirt pattern ! And, I'm like you are about that fabric. I wouldn't have known which side to use. 😉. If only it could've been made inyo a reversible box - pleat skirt. Love your channel bunches, Anastasia. TYSM for sharing your techniques and knowledge with us. You make things look so easy to sew. 😻❣️😍

Lovely skirt, love the fabric. For me I would have top stitched down those box pleats a little bit so that in the tummy area it laid a little more flat, but that's my personal preference. ❤

Yeah you could totally do that without changing the pattern.

Welp, I could have used this a month or two ago when I had to do maths to get the box pleats right on some flannel I was using for a skirt, lol. I do want to say that I recommended your channel to my daughter who needed to a alter some pants. She said she really appreciated that your tutorials are succinct and to the point, without all the cinematic filler like teacup views, etc. I do as well! You can tell you are definitely a teacher.

Only if you made it big enough at the waist to fit over your hips.

Can't wait to make this skirt, now I have courage to sew with invisible zipper (I watched the invisible zipper video tutorial as well) Could you once make a video the same or similar skirt with similar waistband but with elastic in the waistband? Skirt with invisible zipper+ elastic in the waistband
