This diy backpack looks so cute! I used a lovely floral printed pattern fabric as front fabric to make this diy backpack. The fabric is pale blue, green and yellow color. These are the colors of spring!
Also, I sewed a pocket on the front side of the backpack. It can be used to carry cell phone and short wallet. This diy backpack size is suitable for carry a A5 size note books. I would like to use this backpack to carry novels, word books and pencil pouch.
I draw the pattern before making the backpack. It is so easy draw a beautiful pattern for the backpack. It just need to use a compass to draft quarter of circle on the pattern.
The sewing process of this diy backpack is more than that of a handbag or a pouch. When the sewing project is finished, I gained a beautiful handmade backpack and felt satisfied.

Thank you so much for watching my video and leaving a comment😘💕💕🌹 🌈 Regarding your question, if I understand correctly, you're asking about the school compass and seam marker shown at (00:29) and (01:55) in the video. Is that correct? If so, I bought those tools from an online store called Taobao.😊💖

Very cute but do you think the straps are too long?
@sherryhandmade

Thank you so much😘💕💕💐💐 I don't think the straps are too long.😄 However, if you're planning to make this backpack, I would suggest measuring the strap length based on a backpack you regularly use. That way, you can ensure the straps are tailored to your desired length before making them.😊😆

@@sherryhandmade I was thinking for my 7 and 10 year old granddaughters when I made that comment. Silly me, I assumed it was for a child. Thankyou for the tutorial…..loved it😊
Hi sherry the bag is awesome ❤I got inspired from you😊 and wanted to make for my competetion🎉 First question : can we use glue gun instead of sewing? Second question : what is the the name of the white colour fabric which something you said as fussible batting. Can you say any alternative name pls Iwant to make this bag for my competetion😅

Hi, Akhila😊 Thank you so much for your comment😘💖💖🌹🌈 I'm so glad to hear that you want to make this bag for competition. I wish you great success in the competition😍 For your first question, while a glue gun can be handy for certain crafts and projects, it is not suitable replacement for sewing in all cases. The bond created by a glue gun may not be as durable as sewing. Also, certain fabrics may not adhere well to glue or may be damaged by the heat of the glue gun.😉To use glue gun or sewing technique, it is depends on the specific project and materials you're working with. You can still use it in your sewing projects to achieve the desired effect.😆 For your second question, I once saw someone refer to it as "single side adhesive cotton batting" online😄 I hope this helps.😊🌈
