I use umbrella style and regular modifiers with bowrns mount, I keep a file in modifier kit the three lugs on bowerns rings are not consistent in size

Thank you for the video. I recently bought a similar umbrella softbox (Godox 47"). I have the S2 bowens mount bracket to use with this. It's my first softbox and I didnt consider that you are limited in the positioning of the angle of the light. Is my only option for this is a boom arm? Would you recommend using studio softboxes with the rear mounts instead? Thanks to all for any feedback.

Sorry for the late responce. Seems the comment must have got lost by KZread.. Honestly I use both. I tend to use the Neewer umbrella softboxes for video lighting or when on the go with speedlites. I however use studio strobes in my studio-office and you must use normal softboxes with the mount on the rear to proper ventilation to run them or they will overheat and could catch fire.

Yes, definitely.. They offer great value since they are good quality and low priced.

Great video! I bought an umbrella softbox but how do I tilt it downwards? The Zipper gets in the way. Please make a solution to this problem. Do I need to make a hole in the diffuser cloth?

Yea audio wasn't to great on this one.. Kind of the reason I haven't been doing to many tutorials like this for a while. I got some office renovations in about a month and will be redoing the entire office and working on the sound treatment..

Sound, really, doesn't make that much difference this end of Utube! ..... some will have very expensive diamond encrusted headphone , just as well 10 year old plastic speakers. Government statistics ( 1865 - 2020) state: 99% viewers don't care 1.0 Iota about sound quality as long as it's clear. - 85% are Joe Jackson fan boys, (me!) anyway, 2% are Curtis Judd ( he's makes the rules! ) 3% are 'the more expensive the mic, the better,' fan boys, 0.5% only listen to sound quality first not content, 0.5% judge the quality by the box it cam in, 0.4% are Deity fan boys, 0.3% are Saramonic fan girls, 0.2% are Shure deodorant users, 0.1% are boat bouys, - 118% ... of statistics are made up on the spot by President Trump 😁

Yea they have been really screwing over smaller channels the past few years..

Not to be rude, but it's a black product in front of a deep blue background. Very informative and that's great, but for visual people it's kind of frustrating.
