Glad to help! RPCS3 is an awesome emulator. Quite surprised how far the development has come along. There is also quite a good list of games that do work online as well via RPCN (RPCS3's emulated servers)

Hi there and thanks for watching! I did hear about the littlebigplanet 3 servers may be going offline for PS4 version of the game. It is always a bummer to hear when that happens. As far as i know the revival group called "beacon" has revived the online functionality for littlebigplanet games 1, 2, and 3.

I would not recommend changing your graphic settings like that, but rather on a per game config. That way you don't break other games or always fiddling with settings.

Rpc3 error saying can't be opend in archive location or temporary location

I followed along with the video and after closing the RPCS3 app then opening it back up again the PPU modules compiled once again. Is that normal?

I personally didn't run into the PPU modules compiling until playing a game. It will do that each time when loading a game but I personally have not had it happen just when launching RPCS3. It could be something hardware related as each computer may vary in components. As long it is not affecting your gameplay I wouldn't worry about it.

could you please do a video on how to install PS3 games? I don't have a Blu-Ray disc drive and I get my rom games from Vimm's Lair. They have a PS3 game catalog and I have tried downloading from there, yet I'm not sure what all I need to download the games. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dang that is a bummer. Did you try and download the specific Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable? Maybe that will help open up the application.

Hi there and thanks for your question. From the RPCS3 Discord Community this is a solution: If you experience an error about vulkan-1.dll being missing, or there is no Vulkan renderer in the settings, or you don't see emulator window at all, then you have broken video driver entries in your system. To fix this: 1. Make sure you have the latest video drivers installed 2. Download vkDiag tool from GitHub: github.com/13xforever/vkdiag/releases/tag/v1.3.3 3. Run the tool to check and fix potential issues, and post the results

Hi there and thanks for your comment. Have you tried this regarding the qt plugins? Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe ? Another suggestion is try this below: " To update your current install of RPCS3 to the latest version: Download the latest version from here: rpcs3.net/download Extract all files from the archive to your current RPCS3 install folder. When asked, confirm that you want to replace all files. Don't worry all your settings, installed games, and save data will not be touched." This was suggested on the RPCS3 Discord help section. discord.gg/rpcs3

Personally I would create a new RPCS3 folder and then download/extract to the new RPCS3 folder and see if it launches. Otherwise, I think it would be best to hit up the good RPCS3 community Discord: discord.gg/rpcs3

Hi there. To answer your question it would be best to share your RPCS3 log in the RPCS3 Discord. Have it analyzed and hopefully the automated analysis can suggest a fix. I personally have not had this issue. Discord can be found here: discord.gg/rpcs3

How do I fix no available software After trying to add a game I’ve extracted it into a ps3 game folder but when I try add it the folder appears empty

Hi there and thanks for watching and your question. How did your backup for PS3 game? Do you have a compatible blu-ray computer drive? Did you use the ps3 disc dumper tool? I know when I have personally dumped my own game with ps3 disc dumper it will create a folder of the name of the game I backed up. In the video I backed up Arham Origins, and the folder structure will be something like "Batman_ Arkham Origins [BLUS31147]" Then inside that folder it will show folders "PS3_Game" "PS3_Update". @@les3man940 sup bro,download the iso you want right click it and open with explorer you will then be given 3 folders drag those to a completely new folder called whatever your game is and you should be good 👍

mine says "the code execution cannot proceed because vulkan-1.dll was not found. reinstalling the program may fix this problem"

It’s saying it cant proceeded because Vulkan-1.dll was not found. Reinstalling it does nothing.

Hi there. Have you tried using the Vkdiag executable from github? Some folks on the RPCS3 discord found it to be helpful in the similar problem. github.com/13xforever/vkdiag/releases/tag/v1.3.5

Yup put those download links incase others don't have the proper install files. Sometimes you can just get away with installing RPCS3 and the firmware and be done with it.

I tried to open the RPCS3 file (app) and I got this "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk." what should I do?

Hi there and thanks for your question. On notice pop up click on "more info" and then you should be able to run/allow the application. You likely also can whitelist/allow RPCS3 as an exception. I hope that will help your rpcs3 emulator setup!

Do you know if you are downloading the latest version? rpcs3.net/download Sometimes new build updates can have a slight regression and then it is quickly fixed with another update.

Hey there and thanks for watching and your question. RPCS3 works without the need of a ps3 console. I personally stil have a ps3 and sometimes use it to help backup my games with the program/homebrew app called multiman. If you have compatible blu-ray drive for your PC you can rip your own game backups. rpcs3.net/quickstart check this site and scroll near the bottom for a list of compatible blu-ray drives if you are interested.

Hey there. You can also use a PS3 that has custom firmware or HEN. This allows users to homebrew to rip your personal backups. The app on my PS3 I use is called multi-man.

Did you happen to download the needed Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable? That might be a good start if you have not already. Also make sure you downloaded RPCS3 to location on your computer and not to a cloud drive/network location.

Can I use a jailbroken CFW instead of Sony's OFW?

Hi there and thanks for watching. I would personally stick with official Sony firmware, but I know some folks have tested Evilnat 4.90 and it worked okay. Not sure how evilnat's custom firmware 4.91 runs or the specific benefits. If you happen to test custom firmware feel free to comment and share your experience!

I personally have not had this issue. Do you a RPCS3 log you can upload to the RPCS3 Discord? You can get it analyzed by the RPCS3 bot in the Discord. It may help finding the cause of the issue you are having. discord.gg/rpcs3

@@booms5810 I recall someone mentioning be sure to run on the latest drivers for your graphics and other computer parts. I saw that on the RPCS3 discord. One other idea is someone else mentioned try booting rpcs3 with no controller plugged in if you are using one.
