I have htr 3067 connected to a polk 250 speakers with BIC F12 sub. the volume is too low even at 48 on a volume scale of 0 to 97 max. using a 14 awg cable. am i missing anything in setup ? At what volume did you set the receiver for your setup ? am worried about increasing volume above 50, as it may damage receiver/speakers

Does anyone know if its a standard that we can setup those things in the receivers too? I'm interested in a cheap AV receiver from Auna that seems to have the analogue 5.1 inputs that could be connected to my PC soundcard, problem is I don't know if there's any settings in the menu receiver for setting up everything or not, it also has HDMI, but I won't be using HDMI... Then the speakers 5.1 setup that I'm interested the rear speakers have different frequency range than the front ones, they go far below and can give more bass which would not be ideal for PC gaming where I would need the same exact quality\frequency to detect the sound location in-game, if the front to center or to rear change the sound quality a lot it gets super crappy...

Hi i have a similar model yamaha 5.1 connected to my blu ray samsung . i have a issue will explain since the blu ray 5.1 is connected from HDMI port to yamaha and when i play a movie through blu ray disc or a Ext HD when there is a song i get only vocal and i dont get any bass hear only vocal with no music. is this related to Karoke in case if i need to off the karoke mode in my Samsung 5,1 is this the issue.

I did everything as you said, but I can only get 2 speakers to work. Also only the BD/DVD works with the 2 fronts speakers. If I change the source to TV/CD no sound (unless I turn off the receiver ans then I get sound from the TV speakers.

Check your AV Receiver's Display in the right corner at the bottom it should show all the 6 speaker icons if its showing only 2 speaker icons then change from stereo to 5.1ch from your settings.

Bro how did you get receiver configuration settings visible on TV screen? I have same yamaha AV receiver but couldn't see any visual settings on TV. Please help with this if you can.

You don't, unless you have a TV output connected to the amplifier's input.

Be sure to connect hdmi on tv with arc setting. If your tv doesn't support arc use optical cable port in it

I tried to plug in one speaker using RCA cables and the receive won't send any sound to the speaker, it won't even recognize the speaker. I took speakers I have hooked up to a different receiver and plugged them in, they have RCA cables. It was then I realized my receiver doesn't have an audio out for RCA cables??? I got this big box that can't get sound to my speakers now.
