I MADE IT! I.am.alive!!!I I connected the tank, did the test, and turned on the grill. It worked! The house is still standing! My husband is alive too! I was so nervous. Thanks you for this video. This was the best one. Your humor REAAAAALLLY calmed me down. 😂🤣😂🤣🥰

Excellent video! Just purchased my first gas grill and was a little nervous about using it. Watched two videos before this one and learned some from one of them. Watching this video I feel very confident about using the grill. I didn't even think about letting the grill heat for 30 minutes for chemicals and 30 minutes for the oil. Me too. I’m quite nervous having only used charcoal since 1978. (The last time I used a gas grill as a little kid, the lid blew off. Don’t ask me why my parents were letting me grill for the family at 9 years old. But ever since then, I’ve used charcoal. My husband got us a good Weber and neither of us have TOUCHED it, but it is now Memorial Day weekend. I watched a bunch of videos, and this was the best and last one. Now, I’m all set up…..and I lived to type this comment! WOO HOO!!!!

You guys are a riot! So humorous and funny. And so informative. I learned everything I need to start using my new gas grill. Thank you so much.

But I do have a question, on the 5 burner nexgrill we both have, does your hood also come with the gap in the back? Is that extra ventilation? Or is there supposed to be a part that I install on it to cover that gap?

To protect the heat tent can you cover them in foil and replace the foil after each grill?

For applying the canola oil, what is the order of operations? Heat the grill for 30 min, turn it off and cool, apply the oil (saw you flip the grates and assume you let it cool) and then let it heat up again?
