I am... Impressed. After a day of beating my head against the brick wall that was Canon's instructions I found this. And it is so much BETTER. No leaving out key parts, no assuming that we are both experienced IT people and utter technophobes at the same time. 15 minutes total and most of that was me figuring out how to put in the password. Again, so much better than the official instructions and help.

I am dead serious I watched this video for the scanner setup..... Who would have thought that the reason I couldn't scan stuff was because I didn't have the scanner app. What happened to things being basic plug the cord in and it's connected. hahaha derp. I'm on the Mac, and your video provided the necessary information. For reference, I was not able to find the delete key when entering the WIFI password. So I just started the Manual WIFI Setup over; selected my WIFI; and entered the password correctly after a few tries. As you said, the asterisk button changes the current character input from lowercase to uppercase to number. The best part is that your video provided the information I needed. The online Canon manual was useless. The paper "jammed" the first time I tried to print, but this was because I pushed the paper too far forward. After correcting the paper insertion to match the paper in your video, it worked nicely. Thanks for the video. I tried using the online manual for the PIXMA TS4700, but it was very confusing. I have the same Canon printer as the one shown in your video. Your video is straightforward and easy to follow, even though it is for a Windows PC. It's pretty much the same for the Mac, and I got it all working nicely after watching the first 5 minutes of your video. Once the printer was connected successfully to my WIFI, the MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012) running macOS Catalina recognized it in Printers and Scanners (System Preferences), including the correct Canon printer model number, Canon fax model, and so forth. When that was done, I printed from Preview (macOS app). Very nice! Later I will focus on getting it to work with my iPhone 12 mini (controlling the printer, printing, and so forth). Excellent video! My printer instructions was showing blank paper laying on the light gray tray for the printer to pull in and use... You showed in your video that the paper went under the gray tray in between the 2 blue adjustable paper guides. Thank you very much. Now I need to figure out how to get it to print darker. Great video. Canon app sucks. But I did through out 2 perfectly good cartridges and added starter and it still wouldn't work until I read the comment below about pressing super hard. Then it works and I cried about my unused cartridges since they cost about the same as the printer. Second little Canon though. Workhorse!

Does anyone sell does Cartridge with out ink ? I am trying to convert the new cannon G7020 to edible ink but it won’t work out inserting the Headprint which is the the black cartridge and color cartridge. If any one knows who sell empty cartridge.

To Find The PDF Option File Type area: In the Left pane, just below the Scanner, you can see the Source. change from Auto-Configured to Flatbed and then you can selt PDF as the File Type drop-down. A Neat hidden option.

How to fix a support code 5100 ?! It's a brand new printer and it's telling me this.

I can’t get to the part “adjusting for the 1st use”. The scree just tells me the language. HELP!!!

Once I had the printer and computer connected, I was stymied. It would NOT print a test page; it kept thinking I wanted to send a fax. Also, there was no "Manage" option offered once the printer was connected. I'm at my wit's end. This is ridiculous.

While setting up I had to use my mobile's flashlight to read the instructions on the LCD screen, it is frustrating. Does anyone else feel the same? Does the printer has no back light for LCD screen? or it has back light and I am just not able to get the settings right?

I been here 3 hours and this printer isnt found on any devices, i download app on phone as well and it doesnt print at all. This is terrible. 😮

No information on where the cords go. The reason I’m watching a set up is because I don’t know how to set it up

Doesn't work for me. POS loses connection with the wifi and have to start all over. (Wifi is strong and signal is steady) Has happened twice, and now refers me to the "instructions on the comuter or smartphone" And where the hell are they? I bought this trash at Best Buy and it started its little tricks after 15 days return deadline. Oh, also getting a "black ink running low" and I've printed less than 50 pages. Open to suggestions for a replacement...oh, and I'll be buying it at Amazon where there's a decent return policy.
