Method 3 seemed to almost work for me but the alarm button keeps turning on whenever i try to connect to my wifi.

i got up to step 17 successfully but then it says network not detected when i press install software

Method 2 worked for me! I’ve never posted a KZread comment but this deserved one! I bought the printer 7/3/23 and have spent a total of 6 hours trying to connect this using the instructions provided by cannon. I called cannon who doesn’t offer support unless you’re paying for there Carepak. Also called xfinity because I didn’t know what else to do. It’s 7/5/23 and I finally got it. I have xfinity and there is a WPS button on the back of the modem which I was unaware of until watching this video. The only con is he stated to print the network configuration page but didn’t show how to do that. I just tried printing a document off my phone after returning to the cannon app and going back through the setup once the connection to my network was established. Succinctly, if you followed the wireless setup Instructions provided by cannon and the setup keeps failing, try method 2 and then return to the Cannon app. It automatically detected the printer. Select it and just run a test print. @PrinterTales this video is greatly appreciated.
