When the printer asking for user name and password just enter your pc user account and password if you do not have password just leave it blank..good luck

HI. I tried to setup scan in our Canon C5030i printer. but when i search hostname its says no response. how do i fix it?

What is operating system do you use? If windows 10 go to setting then type from search bar control panel then go to program and features then click turn windows features on or off then check smb 1.0/cifs file sharing support check all boxes then check smb direct then restart your computer.. good luck...

Can I directly scan to PC without network connection

Yes you can do it only have to do is use network cable to your pc and the machine. Set static ip address to your pc and the machine to communicate to each other. Sample your pc is 192.168.1.100 and your machine is 192.168.1.101 very simple

@@anilchandran3954 go to command prompt(cmd) type ipconfig you will see your default gateway if your computer connected to the internet
