Thanks for this helpful video. I managed to get everything set up and now when I ask Alexa, it tells me “unable to find door”. I have the boost range enabled and my echo is within about 3-4 feet from the lock. Any ideas what might be happening? Thank you.

Alexa is saying that my level smart bolt lock is unresponsive and i called alexa and they said that Level lock is not compatible because its a bluetooth device but I see that you got it to work with alexa. Please help

From what i have been reading and experimenting my self you need sidewalk or Ring Pro for this to work - Ring pro is basically sidewalk

Tried searching for "level lock" in the Amazon app, but Level Home does not return as a search result. Any suggestions?

Were you searching from the skills and Games section of app or the device section. I used the skills and games section (Go to more icon at bottom right of app>> Skills and Games>>search tool at top right (type in level home/lock). Let me know what happens. Thanks for watching the video.

@@What_dah_tech Yes I was searching from Skills and Games. When I entered the key word "Level Lock", the corresponding item from Level Home does not show up. Instead, I am seeing lots of other apps.

I tried to enable the skill from the Alexa website rather than the app itself. It worked for about 10 minutes. May I know if your Level Bolt has ever become unresponsive in the Alexa app? Mine keeps becoming unresponsive after the first 10 minutes after installation/pairing/linking. The lock status is shown correctly in the Alexa app for the first 10 minutes, but it always becomes unresponsive.

Hi, do you have a Ring doorbell? I followed your video and was able to enable Level Home on Alexa app. I linked my Level account and Alexa connected to my lock. Next I went to Devices then Locks, only to see the message "device is unresponsive". My research shows it would need a Ring doorbell in order to work with Alexa. Is that the case for you?

Hi John I do have a ring doorbell. I am not sure though if the app depends on that. I did not have to do anything with door bell. Maybe the dependency is related to amazon sidewalk enabled in level home app. Sometimes I have had issues regarding lock being unresponsive because the lock has Bluetooth signal issues with my phone or the lock itself is not connecting due to battery power issues or something else.

My lock keeps saying it is unresponsive. I've reset it twice and uninstalled and rei stalled everything twice. Any suggestions?

Unresponsive means your Alexia device is not within Bluetooth range of the lock. The range typically is about 20ft for Bluetooth. If your door is clad steel or an iron gate then it can be even less than 20 feet.

Does anyone know what model lock this is?
