Just got this cube yesterday and I'm absolutely loving it. It was really fast and I had no extra magnets so I just set the spring compression as high as possible and added a ton of silk and now its godly. I will hopefully get extra magnets soon though.

Great idea, setting tension by testing corner cutting. Helped me fine tune one side that was a little off.

I'm new to cubing and I want to get a little faster at solving. The cube I have has crappy corner cuts so I did some research. I ended up buying this cube because it seems to be a favorite among experienced cubers, and it's only $13. It's a win win.

This cube is actually amazing, i tried customising it based on your recommendations but had to make do with the lube, because id din’t have the same lube as you. It instantly replaced my gan 356m My rs3m’s setup is: - 2 - 3 drops dnm 37 - 2 drops of gan lube, or any other silicone lube - 1 and a half 360 degree turn on screw to loosen tensions - 3 clicks on spring tension - added n40 magnets in the edges (no glue needed) - 2 drops of gan lube around the screw to stop spring noise

Thanks I really needed an in depth guide on cube set up, how would the cube turn out if I only used the dignitas and gravitas? I only have silicone weight 5 currently and I don't really have a big enough budget to spend on lubes. I would love to see a set up tutorial on a gan lite as that's the cube I am maining. also, im really curios what is the second part of your shirt (intellectuals solve problems;)

I like slower cubes so what i did is to tighten the cube a little bit to where it corner cuts efforlessly but put the spring compression to the max so I have a nice stable cube that is the right speed for me but has amazing corner cutting. I just put 2 drops of M-Lube (bc that's all I have) and that's how I setup my cube.

Probably would use DMN instead of compound x if I put angstrom lubes in an RS3 2020 (partly because I have it already, and partly because I like faster cubes). Generally I would still use calvin's high viscosity as my default for most of my cubes, but my Meilong 4M, Aoshi GTSM and MF8 M all use dignitas+gravitas+DMN, and they are definitely my 4, 6 and 8 mains.

What kind magnet did you put in to the cube? I don't wanna order at the cubicle just to order magnets thats only a dollar to be shipped all the way to the Phillipines. And I looked up in the cubicle and there is no specific magnet name (e.g. N45, N50, etc.). Thanks!

I wouldn't use the extra magnets because I have set this up to be slower but because the magnets are weak it makes slices great. Which makes it really good for Roux OH

I had RS3M 2020 for the longest time and I also bought the extra magnets. However, I was too lazy to install the magnets and don't want too strong of a magnet. This is the reason that I didn't like my RS3M 2020 over MeiLong 3M. Reason being that RS3M 2020 is a heavy cube. It requires those extra magnets. I finally installed the magnet after months. That makes the biggest difference. It's very stable now and I'm going to make it my main. Lesson learned: those extra magnets are required for this to be S-Tier cube. No, the extra magnets are not making it too strong.

I have cubicle black, Traxxas 5k and cubicle weight 5 as potential core lubes. I orderd six Moyu RS3 and want to set them all up for my family (I taught them all how to solve a cube and I want them all to have their own). I'm worried that the cubicle black will run out if I use it on 5-6 cubes and I'm living in Germany so it's really expensive to order again from the cubicle. Can anybody explain if I can also use Weight 5 or Traxxas 5k for the core and If one would be better than the other as a core lube? Would there be a considerable difference to Cubiblce Black? I guess the main goal of lubing the core is to get rid of spring noises. I'm glad I also got angstrom gravitas, dignitas and compound X aswell. I also got DMT-37 and Silk in my one cubicle order. Really looking forward to trying out your setup on the RS3's that I orderd :)

5:02 can't believe that after millions of cubing videos I finally found a guide to tension a cube that does not require advanced mathematics or relying on my eyes to tell which of the two sides is freaking TIGHTER BUT THEY LOOK THE SAMEEEE TO MEEEE EVENTHOUGH ONE SCREW IS NEXT TO THE CORE AND THE OTHER JUST CAME OFFFFFFF@#$%^%^*()!!!!!!
