This would pay itself off in a year with ease, 24h a day and doesn’t complain who wouldn’t want it

Look, Mr. Hilti, you got too much time on your hands to be coming up with this thing, you guys are getting out control with these tool wars, I think it's just great to have something like that, you guys make your equipment too expensive, but I hear they have a long life, maybe some day I'll find out.

Well i was about to shoot you down in flames but the end of your comment stopped me. Go and get one. They dont do mid range- high end etc. They only make the best possible and the testing is immensivley expensive for them as they test their tools like no other company does in the world. Especially their anchor systems which are used in almost every huge western european buildings. The anchor resin? unbeatable. You get a B22 Hilti battery and throw it in the cement mixer with a little water... no problem. if You use a SID-4-A22 impact driver or SIW-6AT-22 impact wrench in the pouring rainit wont be bothered one bit. It genuinley is the best company for a few outstanding reasons. 1. The Power and Performance 2 reliability 3 There is s 2 year warranty on power tools. And this is not a stupid warranty where there are technicaliteis... it breaks, phone hilti they repair it within 3 days for free or replace it if broken. However they also will provide you same day with a loan tool from a Hilti van driven directly to you. Thats why the price is so high and totally worth it.

Does it know when it hits rebar?

  • @HiltiGreatBritain

Hi there, thanks for your comment. The answer is both yes and no - Jaibot will not self-identify rebar however the operator will be notified when the drill slows down in the material (typically signaling you have encountered rebar), however there are many other factors that can slow down the drilling of a hole so it is not an official method of identification but an indication only.

I can hire 10 apprentices. Train them. Put them out in the field and still never be able to afford or justify that. How does Hilti think this is practical. That has to be close to 100k

What's the yearly wage for 10 apprentices? This isn't an entry level machine but it does have it's applications for continuous large jobs.

Not really hilti have safety as the bigger picture by having a machine do it there's less harm to human life if something were to go wrong and all I see in these comments is people not giving a shit about safety so personally if ssfety isnt number one priority on a work site then those people shouldn't be there
