@@sthetixofficial Issue ended up being related to some files being corrupted. Wiped everything clean and then redownloaded everything with a download manager and it all worked fine

I have created the emuMMC but when I boot in OFW, It always says I need to format it. Do I need to remove the SD card always after booting into OFW?

You need to ignore the message by pressing the power button and update your console later using Daybreak.

Does the SD Card have to be Fat32 before doing this tutorial? I think mine was exFat but it kinds shows Fat32 now. Does Hekate do this automatically? Thanks

I have a question, I have an OLED chip I bought about 6 months ago but haven't go around to installing it in to my Switch yet, what is the best/most recent method & firmware to update the chip to before the install? You need to disable the AutoRCM to enable the OFW function.

it's been yrs since i messed with this. I'm using the rmcloader to get onto my friend's switch, but when I use the loader it goes straight to the main switch screen (I know it works base on seeing the files in album) instead of the screen that has Launch, More Configs, Payload, emuMMC (hekate screen?). With the new files did it auto make a CFW? How can i get to the Hekate screen? Need to get there to make his emuMMC.

I have a problem I was getting desperate to try to fix my Emunand so I went to the “Emunand” section and press “create Emunand” and now it boots again but I’m getting an error message saying to delete the files on my sd card to use the Emunand section again now I don’t know what to do how to fix the error so I can rehack my switch. when you make a new emunand, it wipes the previous emunand so it will ask you to delete the previous files inside the emummc folder and you need to press yes.

For anyone having this problem, Ive fixed it by deleting file “420000000007E51A” in atmosphere/contents in the sd card.

I've just done this and works amazing! my only question is, can I connect to my wifi to update etc and make use of the cheats database lol

Hello, congratulations for the video, I have a doubt: 1) in CFW I can enable wifi without being banned because the serial is obscured anyway. What would happen if I clicked on the shop by mistake (would it give me an error)? 2) In Sysmmc I can connect to wifi without getting banned without of course using tininfoil and game backups. 3) in OFW being the stock system I can do what I want having the serial number in sight so I can play with the cartridges and go online without risking a ban. Everything is correct? Obviously using your pack and following the tutorial exactly

I have a switch lite and I soldered the cpu part flex cable on the board BUT I didn't connect it yet on the chip of hwfly. Now, I tried turning on the switch (just testing it if it will boot ON) then it turns on fine. Then I proceeded soldering the upper part left side of flex cable (the ABC gnd points), and after soldering I turned it in again then it boots ON. Lastly I soldered the upper right flex cable (the one that has + symbol) then for the last time I tried turning it on but it doesn't able to boot up anymore. After trying to turn on multiple times, I saw once a purple screen (not sure if purple or violet but It's light purple). Is my switch lite DEAD already? (I didn't connected the main chip hwfly on the flex cables yet)

why cant we use sd file instead of sd partition? i read it makes it easier to upgrade sd card in future.

you can, just dump your current SD files emummc, and later, create an SD partition based to the SD file emummc size and restore it using Hekate.

i guess you are using a V1 switch, right? disable the autoRCM, save it, and you can reboot to OFW afterward.

We usually install games on the sdcard, not to the emunand's nand section

hi i got a few question: 1. how do you wipe users / data in emummc? is it supposed to bring data & users from ofw to emummc? or did i do anything wrong? 2. in OFW i already cancel the update. but in emuMMC the update still showing as "system update is ready". whenever i launch tinfoil, the "ready to start system update" pops out. but i stil can start software without updating. updating is impossible since connection to nintendo is blocked and serial number is not same as OFW.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but there are 2 CFW and then a OFW. I understand the OFW because people might want to go on the eShop and purchase games, play online, re-download purchased games, etc. What is the point of having 2 CWF alongside it? Fuse on the switch is not like a house fuse. It protects the console from being downgraded to a lower firmware. And the fuse count should match the firmware version. You can read the table here switchbrew.org/wiki/Fuses

I have this exact setup on my 200GB card, how do I transfer this to my new 1TB SD Card? I have tried copying all contents to new card and nothing, also have tried using disc/image cloning software and nothing. Says payload.bin file is not found.

just disable the autostart option inside windows. It wont prompt that message again.

I followed this to a t. But I get a pop up every time I go to open up tin foil "an error has occurred. Please try again later" I click close and get another pop-up "unable to check whether this softwaresupports backup using the save data cloud service" I click "start software" and it starts.

I have no idea how to boot into Hekate. I had my Switch hacked once but now I can only boot into CFW, so how do I boot into Hekate? I still have my jig and SXOS dongle. I use the license.dat/boot.dat and boot.ini from SXOS and not the one you have in your hats and I get a black screen when I boot with the jig and dongle inserted and holding Volume UP and ON button. I also tried with your boot.dat and all your files from your HATS pack but I really can not boot into Hekate. HOW? I tried Tegra RCM but I get no RCM device. When my Switch is connected to PC it will boot into OFW. I also do not get APX under my computer when I connect the switch. Like I said I used to use SXOS and Atmos but I have no idea what to do now.

Hello.. so on Sysnand cfw it's still safe-ish has long as you don't install nsp files? I believe that's what you were saying.. and boot OFW for only legit games.. can you use a save from CFW on OFW for a game not online? Thanks for your many videos.

Yes don't install pirated games on the sysmmc, don't use mods, tinfoil etc.. Use legit games only

I need help! My emunand corrupted, so I need to do this to restore it. BUT I will lose my android partition! Is there a way around this??
