You guys were great explaining how to put up the tent. At first i was worried if i really needed someone's help, like needing 2 people in order putting up the tent but the way how you guys explain it and made it look so easy that i do believe i can do this on my own and not have a mandatory partner to set it up. Thank you ! We bought a tent with these clips ons instead on the inner tent and for the life of us could not get it to sit right . Now we know ! Not a camping newbie just used to the old triangular shaped ones or ones with poles on outer tent you feed through ! Thank you for saving us from not divorcing over this 😂

I lost the instructions for my Swiss Gear 4 person tent and had a few mishaps putting it together. I finally gave up and remembered KZread has everything! Try setting the poles into the corner pins before you attach the clips. Much easier that way.

Just a suggestion. Next time you setup your tent, put the poles into the grommets first before you clip the tent to the poles. This will eliminate the frustration of adjusting your tent or putting unneeded stress on the material.

I have an Ozark 6 person tent orange and brown from walmart no rain gets in it at all big winds lightning 4" of water it takes the punishment been through its 11th hurricane here in Florida no problems at all love my tent .. yellow.plastic steaks and ozark bunji cords , no problem at all.. others crash here at the camp site made of aluminum but not mine carbon poles baby !!! ☆☆☆☆☆▪

do all tents come with a ground fly

With one person I’d put the poles In The grommets first than attach the tent with the clips. I do this with this tent which I own myself. Hope it helps

cevin11 is totally right; you should first insert the poles into the corner grommets, then raise them and hang the peak of the tent at the point where they cross. then attach the remaining hooks, starting at the top and working your way down. It's much easier, and I think your way is a major error. Other than that, you guys did a good job.

What type of material would you recommend for the ground cloth? Because I use an old tarpaulin for my ground cloth and it is very heavy.

Lots of tents come with a ground cloth tailored to the tent of course. If you don't have this, you can use several things. I've used a space blanket cut to size and also cheap plastic tablecloths. Make sure to fold it so it doesn't extend past the edge of the tent, otherwise when it rains the ground cloth will funnel water so you and your sleeping bags and everything else in the tent will be soaked.

Okay, good video but guys please make sure that you don't make little mishaps like dropping the poles, give enough room for drop cloth layout ect. LOL it made me laugh as you did keep you cool about it and it was funny but great to watch keep up the good work guys ;)
