Nice idea. I guees it is pendant for the priest/-ess during service. I like the way you use the ornament on the top of the circle as a bail. Very nice instruktions. Undercutting such small settings, you don't see that every time.

its funny, im a beginner just learning to do stuff, and I had an idea for something like this except using oblong stones, and exactly for amethysts... idea is darkened silver with em around it, so I looked up stone setting and this was the video that caught my attention without even knowing that its basically the same idea

Thank you Joel! I have a few cast rings i bought to practice stone setting on before i reset my anniversary ring stones into its new ring that has 40 1mm diamonds surrounding the 2 oval diamonds. I wasn't sure what to do to the pinpoint settings to open them up to hold the diamonds. This answers a lot! I was wondering if you can make it possible to print out your graphics? I have a few issues with remembering the small details and it would be nice to be able to look at them without leaving my bench and getting out the computer and finding them in the video again. Please!
