You can actually try describing your videos a bit long. Atleast for 4 to 5 mins or more. Your videos are interesting. And the graphics, videography etc pulled me into liking and subscribing it.

Abhishek Kumar good feedback! In the latest ones, the format has been extended. Yeah; well, if it’s like everything else, what’s the point right?

I have been asked to design a house but the client wants me to give him only the design and the 3d views. How should I charge for this project?

It's called giving a "concept design package". Generally, you should charge around 30% of the total fee you would charge for the complete architectural package including construction drawings and engineering services. Secondly, make sure to clarify what you will be delivering: basic architectural plans, all floors (no details), a typical section, elevations and 3d views. You should clearly state your deliverables and tell them that you will not be providing any MEP and structural details. They can then decide to continue with you and pay more for the rest or get someone else. Hope it helps.

Hi! I'm an undergraduate architectural student, and I the question "how to set a price for an undergraduate like me?" is resounding on my head. A professional offered me to design for him, because he is too busy, he said he will just pay me for my work for him. And he is asking me about the price of my service. And I don't even know how to set a price since I'm not yet a licensed architect. Please help me on my question: HOW? Thank you very much for the response, it's such a pleasure for me. Badly need it. huhu

I think and hourly payment would not work in your situation as you would be needing longer hours than someone more experienced. In this case it is always better to understand the principle behind pricing for services: time spent on something multiplied by an hourly rate. This way you will get a ballpark rate of what you should be asking for. After you determine that, you should add another 15% on top to cover for all the other expenses like electricity spent etc. Now you have a number. Round it off and then ask for a lump sum payment with 25% to 30% in advance. For example, you are given a plan to draw in autocad. In your estimate it might take five days to draw. There are 8 hours in a day so the work might need 40 hours. You think your hourly rate as a student is $30 an hour. That makes your basic total as $1200. Now multiply it by 15% and you get an additional $180. The fee you should be asking for is $1380 for that job. It's not an exact science but this will ensure you won't end up spending more than earning. Hope it help!
