Well explained, although I'm not sure if this is just my car or jetta's in general I have three mystery meat bolts at the back of the cover for the oil plug and the bolts for the fuel filter housing are rounded, go me

Hi thanks for the amazing video! I have exactly the same car and engine! I left my car sat for 1 year with half a tank of diesel and now when started it’s only getting me 45MPG in the motorway and 30ish around town :( it’s been fully serviced literally 2000 miles before it’s sat I did fill up the tank full and went for 2 hour journey still no help! What do you think I should change ? Thanks 🙏

Hi! Best would be to make a scan with a diagnostic tool. See if you have any DTCs. Also check the parameters of the engine, fuel injection, turbo boost. Maybe replace fuel filter if you think the old fuel is the cause. 👍

Hi! VCDS is not free, you need to buy the cable and the license. The connection to laptop can be done with usb port. 👍

In the A1 I thin is not possible from mmi. Also it took me a while to get it how to reset the service inspection reminder 😂 The service oil was easy to clear... 🤦‍♂️

You skipped the fuel filter the most complicated part bit of a cop out
