As uploading some document there is a one option are available you can upload your resume and your mentor resume I think second last step

How did you make separate items for the "Expected output and outcome" section? In the current SERB portal bullets option is there only for the "Objective" section.

Sir I have registered and login, I could nt proceed beyond entering my personal details and there is not details asking for the institution where I am going to work but instead its asking whether I am superannuated and my current institution name with designation and date of retirement. Skipping those details, I cant enter anything further. kindly help me in this.

Yes, the mentor is also required to register on the website. So both applicant and mentor register. No there is no need for submission of budget. You just submit the proposal. Candidates get consolidated monthly pay from SERB.

Yes you are able to apply national postdoc fellowship, it’s absolutely fine interdisciplinary subject also you should apply

You feel all information very carefully currently I am not remembering about the editing option but it is available after submission you can check your file and update accordingly but after finish the deadline you can’t edit anything

Sir please help. When we create a profile on SERB portal. There comes an option of "Present Affiliation" Under which following options are give Note: In case of Ramanujan / NPDF please provide your host institute detaisl 1) state 2) District 3) Institute 4) Your Designation 5) Your Department Please let me know which institute details here we are required to fill. If the post doc hosting institute details then what will be our designation then. Because yet we are not working in that Institute.

For the postdoc mentor, Yes, but don’t worry if you are your shortlisted so directly DST send your mentor one email regarding your feedback In that is your recommendation letter. Best of luck 🤞

Respected sir, Good afternoon, Hereby I want to inform you that, the institute where I'm willing to do post doc, there the registrar is not ready to sign on endorsement letter, they are saying that, till now we didn't provide this facility to anyone. It's very new thing for them and they are not responsible for providing any post doc certificate like that they are saying everything should be taken care by NPDF authorities. Only my mentor is ready to sign and further provide me certificate from his department but not possible from University perspective. Please let me know the alternate option for my query at the earliest.

So, you can explain your professor to discuss with register because of register signature is mandatory otherwise you explain front of the register. Also some of the key points those key points already available on the website portal

Everything going good so they will offer you end of the year ( in my scenario I submit the proposal in April and I got the offer letter in February

Yeah as an employee also apply no problem but it’s mandatory to your age and your PhD finish date is point of you 35 and after finish your PhD within three years you can eligible to apply

How long time you apply post doc fellowship and then after you receive this email? I think so you got the fellowship otherwise your proposal is acceptance for the review! Otherwise can you clarify already your proposal is accepted for the review and then you receive this email?

You can use, but as my point of you the report just only 10 page so you can write entire proposal by yourself first of all understand other research concept and you can write your own word, And help your post doc supervisor

Offer Letter comes when we accept the fellowship, we can even reject it. www.serbonline.in/SERB/faq?HomePage=New In this link, it's given average time for result is 2 months from the date of submission.

Yes, but this is India here no no one follow deadline this is my experience as per my scenario and I’m spending 1 1/2 year to writing a proposal submit the proposal and accept it totally I’m spending 18 month and then I receive the offer later
