I actually have a thermal label printer, but it’s not necessary expense if you’re just starting. They never need ink. This is the one I have though. amzn.to/3xvWpmP

I never thought to take pictures of the material tag. I list it, just not the photo. Didn't know that! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Descriptions are the reason why it's hard for me to list because I never know what to say and figured it had to be some long paragraph.

Great video. I just have 2 observations that may help. Instead of hanging clothes overnight, why not just lay them flat on the table to start with. Second, instead of writing down the info, you could start a draft and put the info in it and save another step.

Once you get the printer, you just add the printer's app to your phone.

Now you have me questioning whether I should be taping my Tyvek envelopes now. LOL! I've noticed some don't stick as well as others and I'm just like, 'meh'. Ha! Great video! :)

THANK YOU Tanya. You must have read my mind because I've been wanting to ask you how Posh Mark works. I have a bunch of designer clothes that my dead-beat tenant left behind after I evicted him for failure to pay many months rent and I'm hoping to sell them to make back some of the money. You did a FANTASTIC tutorial but I have 1 question. Have you ever been burned by a customer? I would hope that for their 20% commission, Posh Mark would protect the seller in some way, especially since they make YOU do all the work (Sharing your listings is a service they should provide; you shouldn't have to pay someone else to do it).

You can, I sell on eBay so that’s where I get all of my comps from. Just make sure you are looking at what has sold instead of what it is listed for.

Not quite, a little more complex.

I’ve had vintage designer jewelry listed on posh mark and eBay for 2 years and I’ve sold maybe 4 items. 2 on each site. I have no clue how people make money. I belong to vintage jewelry groups so I know what things sell for and a few of the items were appraised by a famous professional.

Nervously excited to start listing to earn extra $$. I appreciate your tutorial… it provided that extra confidence that I needed to get started. Question: once listed on posh ark I immediately received “cannot see pictures send to my email” comments. I am thinking these are not real requests? Advice on how to handle?

If anyone messages you on there and ask you to do any kind of business with them off of the app, it is a scam just block them. They should purchase everything through Poshmark and not try to get you to send anything to an email or a phone number. They usually only do brand new people once you’ve sold a few items it usually stops unless it’s something that super expensive. I’m excited for you to start making extra money!!

I just prefer to put my time and energy into the 2 platforms that have the most traffic.

Im a new eBay seller. What do you do if you sell something in a different country, you ship it, but the eBay wearhouse place sends it back to you? My label and my packageing was gone, so whoever opened my package, repackaged it and sent it back to me. The item, my free "thank you" gift and my thank you card was all in the package just like i shipped it. When i looked to see who bought it, the person is gone, not on eBay anymore. So what do I do? This is so strange to me.

When an item sells through eBay global shipping program, it gets sent to their warehouse. Then when it’s at their warehouse, they repackage your item and send it to its destination. I can only assume that something happened with the buyer so they sent the item back to you. Usually they will send you an email if something happens with the shipment to let you know.

Plus, one time I shipped something in an Express Mail box, that wasn't express mail, the package got all the way to the town the lady lived in and USPS sent it back to me! OMG! She messaged me about it, so I called USPS and that's what the guy told me. Sometimes I live and learn the hard way 🤷🏽‍♀️. Anyhoo, I got the package back, put the box in an extra large plastic shipping bag, sealed it up really good with tape, bought another shipping label (paid for it myself & refunded the lady the shipping cost she paid the first time, because I felt like that was the right thing to do. Thank you for your great videos and your information

What does it do when it sells besides sending the email of the label? Like when the person says they want to buy the item what do you press?

If it’s what you are asking then it tells you you sold the item on the app under the news tab. Or you can look under the offer tab and the orders tab.
