Thanks for the video, I was spending so much time thinking about what images I could generate that would sell for a couple of days that I didn't realise I could just post all the 100s of images I already have of just random thoughts that came up to my head or that I needed for my businesses. Thanks again man liked, subbed and commented for the algorithim

do you leave the photos as PNGs or change them to Jpegs? And can you upload these to other agencies besides Dreamstime and Adobe?
@rohaneh

Hi there, you should convert them to JPEG believe I forgot to mention that in the video. That said, I uploaded a bunch as PNGs because I forgot to convert them and they were still accepted. In terms of the well known stock agencies, I believe it's just Adobe and Dreamstime

@@rohaneh PNG is a better format than jpg for upscaling. is a lossless format, which means that it compresses the image without discarding any of the original data. PNG is ideal for images with simple shapes and high contrast, such as logos, icons, and illustrations.

@rohaneh

I'm currently on the pro plan but will likely downgrade to standard. I won't go any lower than standard because with standard and up you get relaxed mode wherein you can generate an unlimited amount of images. At the moment I don't notice significant difference between fast mode and relaxed mode (there is a difference though).

Freepik, 123RF, and Dreamstime, there may be more. Honestly though, you likely won't find much success anywhere else but adobe. I have the same number of AI images on Dreamstime and I've sold zero AI images there. Certainly give them a try though.

Well, today I was trying to pass exam art Depositphotos and receive this latter: “Hi there, Thank you for uploading your files to Depositphotos and expressing your interest in becoming a contributor. Unfortunately, you did not pass the exam with your submitted files. Due to potential legal issues related to copyright laws and AI-generated images, we cannot accept files created with such tools. You can apply to become a contributor once again by submitting files that were not generated by AI.” Any advise from you? Thanks for your content…

Yah unfortunately, not all the stock agencies are participating with AI generated content. To the best of my knowledge it's really only adobe stock and Dreamstime that allow AI submissions. For now I'd say stick to adobe stock for generated content, I've been having much success there.

Hello, in dreamstime do you need a property release like adobe stock for recognizable people or do you only need to state that's Ai generated?

according to dreamstime "Contributors will not upload images of generated people's faces as it is impossible to provide a model release for them". so dreamstime does not allow uploading of AI generated images with faces in them.

I find it very confusing that the law says A.I. generated art cannot be copyrighted but then you put your name in the copyright section in Adobe stock. Does this mean we can legally copyright the A.I. images if we are the prompt engineer? Does this mean we are authors? If so then it makes sense that we could hold copyright to our A.I. images if we authored them. Any legal insight on this topic would be very much appreciated. I want to sell the images I wrote but am a little nervous. All the artists I use are from artists whose copyright expired many years and centuries ago. Nothing in my images is recognizable as other artists ,place , brands, people or property. But I'm still nervous to sell it becr I'm not clear on the laws around it . I guess if Adobe is selling your images with you as the owner it should be ok right? ...
@rohaneh

Caveat: I am not a lawyer or expert in the area of copyright, so nothing I say here should be considered or taken as legal advise. With that understanding -- if the artwork was published before 1923, it is in the public domain; if the work was not published and the author died over 70 years ago, it is in the public domain; if the author was anonymous and the work was done 120 years ago then it is in the public domain. Once artwork is in the public domain you can do whatever you wish with that work without permission. If your creation is based on public domain work don't worry about selling it -- by my understanding it is perfectly fine to do so. As far as the copyright of AI work goes there's precedent for doing so. Please watch this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rKuIpKuQmKyxedI.html

Hello please can u tell me how many hours or days to accept my image in Adobe stock.. And in midjourney is it necessary in the prompt to do ar 3:2 or ar 2:3 ?? Because I generate images without the aspect ratio! Is that a problem. Thank you
@rohaneh
Жыл бұрын
For AI art it sometimes takes adobe like 6 days to approve or deny. It's not necessary to do an aspect ratio, it's preference but images with room for print often sell more and with an aspect ratio of 3:2 there's more room on the sides.

why do you make the pictures so wide
@rohaneh
Жыл бұрын
Purely for copyspace. It's not necessary but I've been getting sales that way
What’s the point ? the companies who have been using stock agencies to buy their images are now just subscribing to AI creation software and doing it themselves, why pay silly money to scroll through thousands of images trying to find something suitable when within a few seconds you can have AI turn out exactly what you’re looking for, it’s all over 😢
Why would anyone buy this? 1. anyone can do it themselves in minutes. As you show. 2. millions of images are submitted to all stock providers every day. Thanks to Midjourney. Who should buy exactly YOUR image, if you can't even find it among the mass of existing images? 3. and even if you should sell a picture anyway, it will bring a few cents. The electricity to produce the image already costs more. 4. and then you also have to pay tax on it. Midjourney kills the whole stock market.

Who cares? They sell.
I'm not so sure how "legal" that would be and might open you up for legal problems. AI art is all composited from copyrighted images scraped from the internet. Now, is that fair use since it's composited? How much of a change is fair use? These questions haven't ben answered yet. I'm not saying don't do it, I'm saying be careful. Especially with the more "realistic" images since those are more likely going to be actual people's faces or pretty close.
Does not feel right to make money from others work even if the AI has sampled several images.

But so do other "real" artists. An idea or inspiration doesn't come from nowhere.

I understand and respect your opinion on the matter.
please don't make videos like this. you will just create a lot of competition for yourself and others like me who figure things out by themselves. when you give away all informations for free, Adobe will get flooded with images until they restrict the AI uploads. KZread Videos already destroyed the print on demand business. no Idea why people destroy their own business model. making these videos is a horrible decision! :(

Hi Aivy. I know exactly what you mean but this is an unstoppable process. He is within his rights to do it, and so are all the others. At least Rohane isn't exaggerating the scenario like I see so many KZreadrs do. Those are the ones that are a problem because they are not just passing on knowledge, they are trying to maximize the number of views they have on YT, and their sales, I see a lot of clickbait out there. Not all, I mean, I also watch some excellent people creating honest and truly interesting content videos. But many have deceived people about the real possibilities of earnings and, yes, POD is no longer what it was and is now taking unfriendly measures towards creators. It's not just POD business or Ai, it's everything, like people selling illusions to others about moving to other countries and having good jobs... I do understand totally what you're saying. But you and I, and lots, must find a way to be relevant beyond all that. Not easy, but this is the reality and will be for the next years until the hype fades.

No problem. Traditional photography will be with us for a long time to come. But for sure, I think, stock photography will certainly change given the rise of generative AI images. It's insane the results it comes up with
