I definitely understand the tank space issue. I have 250 gallon, a 25 gallon tub and I just purchased a used 20 gallon. I have fish in with my shrimp, but that’s with the tub and the new tank are going to be for. Separating fish and shrimp. I love Selective shrimp breeding

Marks Shrimp Tanks Excellent thanks! I don’t have a dedicated shrimp room because of my small house, but I manage to keep two aquariums (a five gallon and a 2.5 gallon). As for shrimp, i only keep cherries and amanos at the moment but I want to try out with blue dreams and yellow shrimp, as well as green lace filter shrimp. Your video explained it perfectly, in fact, it also taught me how to use a feeding dish for shrimp, and I’m interested in getting one. I was also wondering: could you use one of those little plastic containers that hang of the aquarium, and keep two shrimp of opposite sexes and desirable traits in there? Would this provide offspring of similar traits? Anyways, thank you for this great video and your comment reply!

Why do you want to stop using the word cull? It's the legitimate word for what you're doing. What we all do. Culling doesn't mean slaughtering, we all know you don't kill the culls. They live in the Shangri La tub. Oooookay I just filtered through the comments while the video ran...it's the special phrase. You worried me, I thought you were going all PC Pansy or fodder for the algorithms LOL!! In my head I'm thinking 'selective breeding' sounds way ruder than culling LOLOL!

You do know you are giving the other shrimp an inferiority complex and even teeny tiny bouts of depression. Shame on you mr Scottish man...SHAME I SAY!
