How to Select Succulents for an Art Pot
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I chose Crassula 'Candy Cane' because its variegation echoes colors in the clay. Pot by Regina Fernandez of Port Town Pottery

Hi Regina -- I meant to email you that this had been released. So glad you saw it and it was a nice surprise!
Oh, string of pearls or string of bananas would look cool in that "window" of the pot; though, probably not compatible moisture wise?

Hi there SG -- You're right, there are wonderful trailing succulents that could have gone in the "window." I wanted to keep the composition simple with one-plant-one-pot and not use anything that would conceal the design. This particular succulent, Crassula 'Candy Cane' may be hard to find, though, and it's not very tough (typical of many variegates). Your suggestions are great alternatives. Others might be Echeveria gibbiflora hybrids with rosy tones.
Beautiful!!! Btw, does the pot have drainage holes?

Hi John, most definitely .. All my pots have ample drainage because the focal purpose is that they are for succulents and cactii. thanks for the compliment
😍😍😍
can i keep this plant in my bedroom?

Yes, if it gets several hours of bright sun daily. Not too close to a window, though, because glass can magnify the sun's rays and burn the leaves.
