Its science, you can try this your own, try breaking one stick from your hand and it will easily break, then try breaking 2 sticks, 3 sticks, 4 sticks 8 sticks or more and see what you experience? Wasn't it hard to break when there too many sticks? That's because of the "Synergy" (like a team work). Same way when there are too many grains its obviously the best of best. However, size of the grains, straight pattern and parallel combination are some of the other things you must consider (only you need to master in both science and cricket at once) 🙏

Sachin Tendulkar mentioned in an interview that almost all of his bats had a maximum of 4-5 grains. Somi Kohli, owner of bas said that Sachin even made a double century with bat with three grains. You can see KZread videos of same. Your example doesn't match case grains are of same wood not different wood or stick.

Always prioritise ping, balance,pick up and profile + knock your bat and regularly oil your bat with linseed oil to soften the fibres for good ping
