I appreciate your advice on not lowering prices to encourage sales, as it could lead to a lower perception of the item's value. Hard to resist doing so when sales are soft.

Yup lowering prices is a race to the bottom. Gotta find other ways to add value to justify your current prices or higher prices. Now back to work for me before I get the 🫵 🍌 lol

For underperforming listings, do you think it's better to edit or copy & republish? I heard copies will force Etsy to 'look' at it more than just an edit & could give better visibility? But conversely, you would lose views/❤s accrued & any Q score? Hard to know which carries more weight. I definitely screwed myself over making too many changes based on advice I shouldn't have trusted. One last thing: stats breakdown of traffic origins doesn't show you which sources converted to ❤s/sales, do they? Are you talking more about a listing with no sales, & majority views from one outside source, so you can clearly see those views aren't converting? I can't see how else you'd know which marketing to push or pull back on otherwise?

What if you deactivate a bunch of them? Will that be a problem?

Oh wow, I've been making constant edits on my listings and republishing them... no wonder I can't getting any action. Ugh. I didn't know editing a listing would screw things up.

Pricing confuses me because I have customers tell me my prices are too high but yet my competitors charge more and make more sales.

Do you personally use tools for SEO e.g. Erank etc?.....Do you believe they are necessary for success? ....and if so, which one would you recommend?

My conversion rate is above 5% no matter if I look at the past week , month , year etc but I only get 1-6 visits per day . I have only a few reviews but all 5 stars … photos are bright clear and top notch. What would you suggest ?

What that suggests to me is that the quality of your product is decent but your market is relatively niche. You may try to broaden the amount of niches you target. Or just pump out more products if you don’t already have a lot of listings
