ps - I also don't wash my cast iron with dish washing liquid. I usually add some water right after cooking to dissolve or deglaze any food residue then scrub it with a course pad. Rinse off and dry. Every time you wash with soap you're also washing off the seasoning layer and you'll have to reseason your pan again.
