HOW TO SCULPT A PORTRAIT!
Ойын-сауық
Hi Guys, for those of you that follow me over on instagram, you will know I've been planning to start teaching sculpture for a long time, with you guys asking for some time now! I've finally got round to it and here is the first video!
This is my new mini series where I am going to aim to post a thread of videos keeping them short and snappy which by the end you will have the basics and progress to some more advanced techniques on how to sculpt a portrait!
I Hope you enjoy the video and stick around for the series!

This one is really helping me 😊 I watched my sculpture's head slowly lean to the side until he looked as if he were leaning awkwardly. So i said he as sleeping....or drunk...or both..

You are so underrated 😢,, I love your art style 😊
Luv it!!!🤗🥰thank you for sharing 😘
thanks for sharing your process! Will definitely follow this series!
I was always fond of beautiful sculpture such as "Hercules the archer" (my favorite) and "lady of auxerre". I found your channel today and subscribed with excitment! Want to work creating sculptures myself!!
I always make my chin on my sculpture stick out too much but I think I see now why. 😊 practice, practice ❤ I have found sculpting is a lot different than drawing portraits. I like drawing, but love sculpting ❤
You are the Master! Very well done & well produced!
I picked 2 different ones, plastaline, soft and medium. Ording small package of both to try. So excited ❤❤❤

Muchas gracias por ver cómo se crea una Obra de Arte 🎉🎉🎉 Desde 🇵🇪
Hi Steve, that's great thanks, I've done a few small sculptures but this is very clear and simple and honest tips that I'm going to try out in the next week or so - I've ordered the aluminium core and clay :) Cheers, Andy

That’s not a studio, it’s a temple. 👍
Hello, from Quebec! Can you please put a link for the wax you use? Also, I hope you have a video how to make a mold once the sculpture is done. Also, can you re-use the wax for other work? Thankyou!
This is greatly appreciated 🙏. A quick question though, for these sorts of portraits, are you able to put other material (eg foam) to bulk out the head so that you can minimise the amount of plasteline/clay you use? If not, is there a reason? Thanks again!
One more question. Can I build my own warming box ? Thank you..😊
You have a online shop?
Beautiful. I wonder if you make any Catholic religious sculpture? Jesus on the cross or Mother Mary must be out of this world if it is crafted by you.

Not something I’ve got round to doing yet, very powerful subjects!
❤ I should have asked my question here, so if you see it again , ignore. Can you recommend a plastalin for me? I am shopping online and worry I will pick the wrong one.

Monster clay hard , similar to Herbin plastiline #70 he is using or chavant NSP , all are oil based clay , hard is the way to go since you can melt them down and achieve great details once cooled

@@otei1780 thank you ♥ I have been practicing with Crayola air dry clay. That I have to slowly and carefully dry. A bit tricky . I do love it . I've ordered the plastaline several days ago , should be arriving soon. Vert excited for more lessons
