Lower MI here, south of lansing. Would you suggest late May early June for the HD screen planting? Going to use the HD while I also try to get some switch going!

Probably early June. It is going to depend on soil temp and nighttime temps

@Northwoods Whitetails Food Plots Thank you for the advice! Will keep an eye on the soil Temps and use that as my indicator.

Watched your screen video . I have used your sorghum the last few years and last year there was a weak 300 yard strip . It is along a county rd and the plot is long but only 40 yards wide . I could plant a soil builder and move it in and loose 15-20 feet of plot . Is there nothing to add to the ground .I had Egyptian in before your stuff and it did not hold up to snow . Thanks Dan

what could be planted in the sorghum stubble for a ground builder that the deer would be less apt to eat

@@danbraucher937 soil builder, rye maybe buckwheat and crimson clover. Just terminate it before deer season.

I have a toothed drag. To cover it, should I drag with the teeth down or up to cover the seed?

Scratch the soil with the teeth down. Spread seed Cover with teeth up Then roll

I received my HD Screening seed but didn’t find any instructions with it. This video gives me the planting instructions but is there any way I can get fertilizer instructions?

Any reason why I couldn’t use this recipe for switchgrass?

Switchgrass would be buried too deep. If there are weed issues, you can Spray certain chemicals and not harm the screen but may harm young switchgrass.

I didn't receive any instructions at all with mine. Just got it a few days ago.
