This does not work for my Fire TV, I think because I bought it on Prime Day, it seems to be missing some functions. Woah, I just realized what the Problem is, because I have 2 Fire TVs, one connected by Fire Stick which works fine for Screen Mirroring, but the one in my Office doesn't have a Stick at all, because it's connected via Ethernet Cable, which makes it impossible for it to share the same WiFi connection as my mobile phone. Also, there is no Screen Mirroring Option available under Settings>Display & Sounds. So I tried downloading several Mirroring Apps from the App Store and it's been giving me the same networking issues with this same TV -- so maybe Amazon should find a way around this issue for Ethernet Connected TVs. Until I saw your video, I had no clue what the issue was; so thanks for posting this. Hopefully it will help you help others with the same issue.

Thank. I usually use smart view for my roku smart TV. But I never seen my firestick device on there. I would of never known you have to go screen mirroring. Thank you for this video.

If you have Launcher Manager installed, you can open the Settings within Wolf Launcher, click on Android Settings then you should be able to see the screen mirroring option. Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

@@FireTVSticks I am using the firecube, and using the android Google pixel 3a phone, I don't get anything happening on the TV or phone, I get the mirroing page on my TV, ready to mirror On the same WiFi, I don't get any error message. I think it's something on my phone that's not working in settings, if you have any idea in settings on my phone. Thanks Tony

From the Home screen, swipe up twice to view your apps, then tap Settings. Tap Connected devices > Connection preferences > Cast. Select from the list of available devices. To stop casting, swipe down from the top of your screen and tap Disconnect.

for some reason on my tv the menu screen to select mirroring never appeared after holding down the home button the only thing that showed was a side bar with no mirror

thanks for the video, very informative, but for some reason my fire tv does not shows in the list of devices to cast. there is a " no neraby devices were found message". I tryied with another phone an even with a table and same results.

I know this sounds obvious, but have you checked the volume is turned up on your TV? Sometimes this method may mute the TV and you may have to unmute it. Also, try restarting your Firestick or even try plugging it in to a different HDMI (if available). Have you also checked to make sure your software is up to date? Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

I can only use mobile data cause i am hotspotting from my phone does this mean it wont work

@@FireTVSticks technically though its the same network , Its my phones internet on my phone and my firestick Its just not "wifi " cause im hotspotting my phones data Oh well , Stupid design i guess Cant screen share unless using wifi Nice... I dont have wifi.

Try some troubleshooting tips: 1) Restart your Firestick 2) Restart your router 3) Restart your phone 4) Try moving closer to the Firestick when trying to connect.

Phone doesn't detect the fire stick. . . . Been trying for 3 hours. Reset both Android phones, one is brand new, the fire stick and my router many times and nothing. No help I've found goes beyond this and I'm beyond frustrated.

Make sure the sound is not muted in the KZread app. Check the volume is turned up on your phone. Check the TV is not muted and the volume is turned up.
