Went scouting a few times recently... Saw sign for Everything BUT turkey. We're talking every from elk to bear to cougar. Going after merriams.

Would I be able to chirp with my turkey call a few times instead of the owl call? Or will that not work?

It could work. It might educate them though. Coyote and crow calls will work too.
In my neck of the woods, we have had a lot of people go play in the woods on the weekend. Would a turkey climb in elevation from people or drop down in elevation?

Depends, if turkeys are used to people, they'll just do their own thing.
How do you know when turkeys are out of their winter patterns?

It's typically when it starts to warm back up in the spring. Right about this time usually. Only way to know for sure is go around and look for signs or actual turkeys.

Do I sit behind the blind all day or do I walk around and look for him sorry first time wanting to take out my son it'ss first hunt
