HOW TO SCORE HIGH ON NAVY ADVANCEMENT TEST TO MAKE RANK QUICK?!
This video me and Harley break down our study techniques and explain that while our advice is simple the methodology behind it makes sense. Simply do what others are not willing to do because many others will not want to study to this degree.

Hey Nicky, I appreciate you continuing to upload even though times are hard considering orders; it shows that you are dedicated and although it's most near impossible you still try, Thank you.
My way is similar. I started studying 6 months out. I read the actual Instructions material, and that was what I used to create my own flashcards. 6 MONTHS OUT! This made the Third Class exam easy for me(I also took leave and locked myself in my room to study for the last 3 weeks)
These videos with Harley are sweet! I learned a lot from this my man🍻
Good info! Scores are 20 to 80. A50 means you answered the correct number of questions to fall in the middle of the scoring distribution. Most important fact was that exams do foster a culture of learning. Studying makes you better at your job.
Not one lie detected. I scored an 80 on my first class exam and made it with a 3.8 fms and an 11% chance. Pro tip: read through all the bibs once highlighting test questions. Read through the highlighted portions making flash cards. Use the flash cards. That is literally 3 passes through the bibs. Keep in mind i wanted first so badly i started studying two years in advance 🤷🏽♀️

You said to read through highlighting “test questions”. How do you know what are the test questions since there is so much info? The bibs all together can easily be over a thousand pages. Thanks. Studying now and this could really help

Please come back and answer this question. Highlighting what test questions?
I'm liking these co-op vids, gives us another view point!
Bruh you did not read all the bibs, my bibs are 700 pages long and Thts just 1 chapter
Always look forward to your videos! :D
As an EM, I'm really gonna try and make at least E-6 in my 5 year contract. This video was helpful.

Bro yo man is great on the camera 🎥👏🏿👏🏿
Thanks bro, my Question Is: as a E1 do l need to do an advance test before entering the navy?
HOW MANY TIMES CAN YOU TAKE THE ASVAB TEST A YEAR?
Yea, it’s so simple, like he said. Just print out the BIB, read over the pubs, and highlight what you think will be on the test. That works every time. Except it doesn’t. The BIB is a reference, it only lists the title of the pub from which you must study. There are roughly 15+ pubs listed. Each pub is about 600 pages long, and full of references to other pubs not listed in your bib. Doing his method may work- if you start the day you check in to your first command and do it for at least two hours every day until you retire from the navy. It takes that kind of dedication to studying to get a grasp of the information inside those technical publications. Imagine studying your vehicle’s manual, from front to back, then getting tested. Now imagine your vehicle’s manual is 7000 pages long. Good luck.

On top of BIBS you need to utilize sub topics to narrow it further.
Them: it’s hard to rank up as a hm Me: *laughs in sh*
So these exams help rank up in the navy?
What website is the best to study?
I haven't finished the video yet so you may have addressed this already but are the links supposed to be in the description? Because I can't seem to find a link corresponding to anything navy related.

There’s good and bad to this. Yes you made second but you’ll have big navy knowledge gaps. You’ll have to catch up and learn some of this stuff quickly.
Been at corps school for a week now 💪🏽 preciate the info!

I got a EP eval should I be worried at all for the exam tomorrow?
@davidcardenas3315

How’d you do with the EP?
It's not all about scoring high on the exams. The (bogus) eval is the basically the biggest factor when it comes to advancement. If you're good at volunteering during working hours, and having every collateral possible, and basically anything that's NOT doing your job, you're on the right track to an EP eval. Then, you score like a 60 and you're good. anyone who says otherwise is just silly. Or, score an 80 on every exam (and still might not pick up if you don't have that golden EP).

iknowyounaut I hate when people try to sugar coat the exam process. Like oh just score in the 70s and you're good. Nah bro it doesn't work like that. I've gone in with an MP eval (bc i take pride in doing my job correctly versus playing the political eval game) and scored well and still missed it. Also, nobody ever talks about the negative aspects of these dudes picking up so quick. This dude is a 6 year e6, props for that but how do you learn how to be a good leader if you haven't spent time in the lower enlisted ranks?

I can attest to this I blew the last exam out the water but, since I didn't have an EP didn't pick up.

I feel your pain man. I really do as someone that scored 70+ multiple times and didn't make it (took E-5 exam six times). It was frustrating for me as well, but I continued to find ways to continue forward and be patient. We treat this like a race and its frustrating because I wish we got out of this mentality. Again i'm saying this as someone that has been there and i'm not sugar coating it because its going to suck. If we go to the individual evaluation instead of annually I think this will help people greatly like us that we faulted evals due to arriving "P' evals and work performance etc. As far as time in the rank I do agree. As someone that went fromE E-1 to E-6 and during that time spent 3 years as an HM3 and 3 years as an HM2 I think there should be greater time in rate requirements to develop as a leader.
Yeah buddyyy
Harley! You're famous! I want an autograph!
lmao, ok but is he (or you) a reservist/fts or full time active duty???? that plays a big role in how fast u make rank smh edit: I'm not invalidating his work ethic or knowledge nor am I a HM but being full time vs. FTS makes a difference
So my husband is having a hard time advancing its been 8 year now..... I know nothing about the navy I'm just a navy spouse...but I hate to see my husband come home saying that he didn't make it...I asked him how do you study for this exam and he said its not about studying...I've asked what is your score but he keeps telling me that there is no score....its getting sad bcuz I beg him to study everyday but he doesn't..he say he studying at work but I know he's lying....can you please explain to me how this advancement exam work?
@NICKYMGTV

There is a score so that is false. It’s is based on a curve. The highest score you can earn is an 80. So if your husband scores the highest out of everyone he will score an 80 and be in the 99th percentile. Ask to see his profile sheet. It will show how much he missed it by.

Yes
At 1.5x speed it sounds like normal people talking and easier to understand
The lowest score I ever cut(87) was when they combined GMG and GMM, first time taking the GM1 test. Pass Advanced third, cut a 95 on my first GMG2 exam to advance, only took the GM1 test 3 times before advancing and then cut above 90 for every CPO exam I took, 11 of em. Getting advanced in the navy up to E6 is dead easy if you know your damn job! After that unless you know how to play the political fuck fuck games, you aint ever making E7.
