Thanks a lot for the tutorial man! This is the only one that really taught me so that I, even as a beginner in combat, was able to pull off me first shield block resets, even twice in a little battle, and am now working on the TCR! I’ve been amazed by advanced cobalt techniques ever since, but never really had the motivation to try them out since the tutorials were kind of missing something. I’ll try out Daruk’s version too! (As soon as I got it, since I already know every bit of the game I got a little lazy playing it myself😅) Thanks again, you really helped me get to it dude

This tutorial is very in-depth and helpful! I can tell you have tons of experience with the game! I just learned how to do the TCR today and it was all thanks to this tutorial. The TCR and SBR have helped my combat level boost much higher! Thanks! Side note: Also, I did not know that DSBR took no shield durability! That's very helpful! I have the Hylian Shield duplicated 7 times lol.

reguarding the shield version and breaking. you can always do a menu overload with bows and copy the durability of the hylian shield to other shields

I thought this was a youtuber with at least 90K subs, then I saw the thanks for 50 subs...Im getting a lot of small youtubers but I love it.

That was a very good video, and nicely explained. The only thing is that you can get a chase mark for a TCR by being in the flurry-rushable range of an enemy's attack, you don't have to get hit necessarily.

Hi! I tried doing TCR without an enemy just to practice the timing and I can easily pull off the flurry rush animation. But when I try doing it with enemies, I can enter the flurry rush animation but it doesn't target the marked enemy (even after letting it hit my shield, and making sure that nothi,ng else hits my shield after the mark). When activating the TCR, should I "ZL" on the marked enemy to focus on it? Or as long as I use the ZL > ZR + Y without "ZL"-ing on the marked enemy I can pull this off (basically during the activation, I'm pressing ZL without focusing in the enemy). Cause I've seen videos where people TCR from a really long distance and I think with from that far of a distance, one can't really "ZL" an enemy. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you so much!

I guess I kinda figured it out. It seems like I need to "ZL"/focus on the marked enemy to do this. I guess the next question is do you have an idea how other peoe are able to TCR from long distances where it seems it's not possible to "ZL" on the marked enemy? Thank you! Today when a moblin did it’s plow attack with a spear it hit me while I was dodging, triggering Daruks protection. However, as the auto-parry happened, I didn’t flurry rush at the enemy, instead attacking the air. Is that a perfect daruk rush?

I have a problem, whenever I do the TCR and Link gets to the ground, the flurry rush window appears and no matter how fast I mash y, the flurry rush never happens

So I modded my Face into Twilight Princess today :)

I’m aware this video is pretty old. Does DSBR need a shield at all? Also i’ve been practicing SBR and I want to start practicing another move. Should I try to learn DSBR or TCR next? DSBR seems quiet difficult but TCR would feel less useful without DSBR. I love how concise yet informative this video is. It gives me something to learn with good explanation without feeling overwhelming and cluttered with unnecessary bits of information. If anyone can answer my questions… thank you. I doubt many people will see this though…

Wasn't me that did it but you just need to do the sbr inputs, swap to the other bomb, and sbr again. It's kinda difficult but it looks flashy.

For the double remote bomb DSBR, when I detonate the second bomb, should press and release again the ZL button?

U can also do a midair pdr after a sbr or dsbr

This may be a dumb question but does it HAVE to be a Hylian shield? I transferred my durability to a radiant shield but I can't seem to perform this glitch even once. My shield tanks the explosion and it doesn't leap me into the air; Link jumps, is enveloped in the blast unscathed, and then by the time the explosion is gone link is already on the ground. No 2nd jump, no holding his bow, just jumps once

All shields work long as it has good durability. Also, make sure to jump into the explosion.

tip: you can use enemy's attacks to use TCR, so you dont have to master SBR

Can someone help me? Whenever I try to do thunderclap rush with a bomb, the sign "flurry rush" does appear. But, instead of rushing towards the enemy and attack it, Link stays in his position, not attacking at all, even though I press Y repeatedly. Idk what to do.

The enemy has to hit your shield first.

I have a problem with the dsbr. Basically, I actually manage to do the thing (my shield doesn't break, I tested with a royal shield about 20 times) but it doesn't let me back flip because it doesn't send me in the air

You may be detonating the bomb after you hit the climax of your jump. Try detonating the bomb sooner.

so, i have a problem. Im able to do a DSRB, though Link cant get into bullet time fast enough. he just pulls out his bow and falls back to the ground. Does anyone know what im doing wrong? help me plz. its getting frustrating

You need to make sure to get a mark first. You need to either get hit by the enemy or dodge one of its attacks first.

Honestly I think tcr is the easiest setting up the targets correctly is kind of hard but not that hard

I always DPP, have any tips also I have better luck holding the bomb for some reason

Most people say the opposite about the bomb thing lol. Anyway, make sure you let go of ZL before you jump. A friend said to let go of ZL then press L+X all at the same time and make sure your walking forward.

The only other shield you can do it with is the Royal and Ancient Shield. Any others need to be durability transferred.
