How to say do you have in Japanese? Travel/Restaurant phrases in Japanese.

Exploring Japan and want to communicate effectively in restaurants and while traveling? My latest video demystifies two essential Japanese phrases: 'ありますか?' (arimasu ka?) and 'もっていますか?' (motte imasu ka?). While both can be translated as 'Do you have?' in English, they have distinct uses and nuances in Japanese. I delve into practical examples to show you how to use these phrases correctly in different scenarios, from asking if a restaurant has a specific dish to inquiring about items in a store. Whether you're a beginner in Japanese or looking to polish your conversational skills, this video is your go-to guide for navigating everyday situations in Japan with confidence. I think the way I can understand it is that your asking someone if they have an object (coffee, umbrellas etc) then it’s arimasu (objects), and imasu for humans (and living things). I might be wrong, though.
