Great video! I learnt so much from this video. I think the next step would be making a video for each chateau in details and their style. As well as their second and third wine.

Thank you. Glad this was useful. Sure, I'll be gradually making videos with key facts about each chateau. It's going to take a while though. Also most of these Chateaus are not very collaborative with wine bloggers. they never send out wine samples, so you essentially have to go and visit them all one by one to taste the wines. So i need more support on the channel to be able to afford that. I'm gathering on the channel all the info that I know and have about them, gradually. tx much, we'll get there :-)

First time seeing your video, very informative and I enjoyed it. Ps. That Klein Contsantia is quite something though, I've tried the 2016 last November and it was a different wine tasting experience (in a good way of course). Cheers from Thailand.

Thanks for the video. I'm wondering why the s is pronounced at the end of Durfort Vivens? Isn't the general rule to keep the s silent?

Thanks for sharing Julien. I’d like to visit them some day. I also happen to notice that you have a bottle of Klein Constantia Vin de Constance. 🍷😊

Thanks for this. I knew most of the pronunciations, but glad you confirmed some. Also, interesting how they are pronounced differently in English. Prefer French myself--blawn duh blawn, but over here it's always blank de blank. Also interesting how Cos d'Estournel pronounces the s in Cos.

Tx J. glad it's useful. Yes, realized the Blank de blank thing, just like in Sauvignon Blank right!? Silent letters at the end of words are a strange beast. Most of the time they're not pronounced in modern French, but with some proper names, people may have kept the old pronunciation from tradition as in the South of France, in the Langue d'Oc, most final letters were pronounced. that's part of why you never know whether to pronounce final letters or not for words, unless you know how the family has done it by tradition! Cheers

Thanks much :-) No cuts within the 61 chateaus, managed to do it in one go and didn't cut out the hesitations as you can see ;-) I'd love to say it was on top of my head. I've been called a geek (a wine geek that is!) but not to this point. I'm also too interested in all the wines in the world to be able to remember them all (not specialized enough!) Santé 🍷
