As funny as Nick is, he is a depressive negative dick. And as dumb and mediocre as Stav is he positive and at least tries and puts himself out there. Thinking everything is dumb and pointless can be funny but it's also very destructive and doesn't lead to anything but to keep sitting around and complaining. At what point is being ironic or funny at the cost of having any human moments just shitty negative self talk. It's cliche but Nick just isn't greatfull or at least content with life on any level. And I get where it all comes from but at the same time isn't exhausting to be an exhausting person that brings down the people around you even if it is supposed to be funny. And just stop bitching and participate in life without huffing and puffing and doing other antisocial shit.

If you want to save the show, you should be putting most of your time and resources into the interviews, which are hands down the best part of the new show. I almost never watch the podcast but I highly anticipate the interviews and rewatch each. The last one was 3 months ago, what are you guys doing?!

Also, I think they should be more serious in the interview. Like, I get it, it's a comedy podcast but they have had some pretty good guests and could have insightful conversations. Sprinkle some jokes in there but keep the focus on a serious conversation. Right now, it's so focused on trying to be funny but it's not that funny and when you have a guest like Norman Finkelstein, you kind of want some serious conversation without adam cutting him off every 5 seconds with a "funny" quip. Like Andrew Callaghan, when he does interviews it's funny but he also leaves a lot of room in his media for serious contemplation.

Maybe they should try consistently decreasing the audio quality and colour grading each week until it is almost indiscernible and everyone will just assume whatever is happening must be funny

i understand the low effort is apart of the bit nick but the almost grayscale color grading and low bitrate actually make this vid look like shit lmao like this is iPhone 5 cinematography

Real way to save the show would be for Nick and Adam to start selling custom JOI vids. Nobody wants to say it but it's true. I'd be first in line.

You guys try too hard for your short film segments and tying them to a celebrity interview slows you down to a point where there is no flow between episodes. That’s such a choke point. Quantity is a quality of its own someone once said. There’s people on KZread making shorts and feature length films for fun with way less of a budget than you guys have and they do it more consistently. You have to find a sweet spot where this shit doesn’t kill you and you can make things regularly that are fun for you to make (unlike this podcast). Right now you’re neither a good podcast nor a good TV show and we stick around because we like you. Having a built in fan base means you can take creative risks more than most people can, so why play it so safe with such a slow workflow? Perfection is too elusive. Love you guys.
